Went in to have my GMC’s bumper replaced. The party that hit me had AAA insurance and Pete’s auto body is a AAA direct repair network. PJ, Mary and Rhonda were knowledgeable about the estimate and insurance paperwork. They also had great customer service. However, after arriving home, after having picked up my truck from Pete’s, I noticed the bumper wasn’t replaced properly. The plastic covering that surrounds my bumper was sticking out on both sides. The person that installed it either doesn’t have proper training or did it very rushed without caring for the customers property. I had to request an early leave from work days after, so that I could take my truck back to be fixed properly. Upon returning my vehicle to Pete’s, PJ properly screwed the bumper back on and apologized. I hope I don’t get into an accident any time soon. However, if I do, I will look elsewhere first.

I love the work this establishment provides. However, when you are the best body shop in the central valley you pay the price of being so busy that the wait is over a month for service.
Most insurance companies won't give you a rental past 30 days so this can pose an issue for those with only one vehicle.
Overall though, it is worth the wait because most of the other shops just don't care enough to provide the quality that Pete's Auto Body does.

I would not recommend this place. They do a crappy job and just want your money. I left my car there 4 times to fix mistakes they've made!!! At one point PJ was measuring the gaps between my headlights and hood with a pen! He told me that he looked at other cars from a dealership and the car from the dmatched my car but they were inconsistent. I had to fight with them every time I went to look at their work because they would fix one problem but create another. PJ was also rude to me when I pointed out something that was wrong with my car and made an excuse for it.

my fiancé and I were in a very serious MVA on the 3rd and I had to get my car towed and stored to this place, what I didn't know was that they charged me 70$ a day and counted the day of the accident as a full 24 hour day when it technically was only there for 5 days since the accident not 6, plus $313 for towing, now my issue is that the location of the accident to the other side of town should not have costed me this much when I've had City Tow come get my car from my home which was very close to where the accident occurred and took it to about the same side of town to the mechanic and only charged me 50$ for towing. I feel absolutely robbed...even more robbed than what I felt during the accident when my car got totaled....this should not be okay. The ladies in the Office were nice but the overall system on how they handle the pricing for things is disgusting.

Did an amazing job repainting my roof! Took exactly a week and it’s very quality. They cleaned up the truck too very nicely. Thanks a ton!
