This place will take most of your deposit. I seen reviews before so I already knew but when they took over $800 it still hurt.you said contect you about deposit issues. You said my message was in junk folder and never heard back after that.

My husband and I recently turned one of our rental properties over to Rental Zebra after self managing it for years. I was done with the hassle of dealing with collecting rents, tenant calls and repairs. Rental Zebra found several qualified tenants, and quickly moved them in. Mitch, Jimmy and the team have great communication throughout this process. Rental Zebra Team is very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of managing the property. Lindsay from this company is very rude and discouraging, and unprofessional. She would only email my husband back and would not answer me, except for every few days and she would answer 1 email but would chat it up with my husband. Had everything lined up to rent a property if she just answered my emails. Instead she doesn't answer and then just says " well it's not available anymore" after waiting and waiting for a reply

Vast majority of the āgoodā reviews are by landlords whose property zebra manages. If youāre a tenant, donāt expect the same experience. What you can expect is them to leave you notices to cure for things like your grass starting to turn brown in the over 110 degree summer or for your own vehicle being parked in the driveway of your house stating itās private property and your vehicle is āinoperableā without doing their due diligence to even make sure their information is correct. Expect them to stalk the property regularly with drive bys and such. Expect them to terminate your tenancy without cause and give you a 60 day notice because they forced you to go to a month to month lease to leave that option open for them. For context, in the 6 years Iāve rented with them, I have NEVER paid my rent late or not paid it. A termination of tenancy is not an eviction and doesnāt need a cause. They did this to me after 2 years in my apartment, forcing me to move, for no other reason then they wanted to raise rent higher then they could legally raise it on a current tenant. I then have moved to a house to rent under zebra as well. Still, never paid rent late and still being pestered for frivolous things. They will force you into over usage of your water and make you responsible for the bill. They even had a yard caretaker watering the property in the middle of the day, consistently, causing the city to send me a warning that they were going to fine me for water usage.
Edit: in response to rental zebras reply, THERE WAS NO CARS OR EVER HAVE BEEN CARS PARKED ON THE LAWN. Do not spread false information. YOU are responsible for the front lawn as per the lease which includes the sprinkler system. The sprinkler system came on regularly so also do not lie that there was no watering done. It is YOUR fault that the sprinkler system that YOU installed was not adequate.

I took a house on rent from rental gibbers but they spoiled me so much from their mentors. I spent four months very hard and I am asking them to return the advance. This is making me very bad. I will never buy a house from Jibra in my life
You too should avoid Jivara rental property people, never take house on rent from them, take it directly from the owner.

Be wary. I was forced to pay a higher cost than my first monthās rent which was not expressed on the lease. Not one Rental Zebra agent could properly explain why I was paying a different price from what I agreed to on my lease, nor could they point me to a team member who could. That extra amount I was forced to pay also wasnāt carried over towards my future balance. Their communication has not been satisfactory at all.
Expect hidden and unfair fees, a ātechnology feeā of $10, AND a $9.99 transaction fee EVERY time you make a payment through the online portal. You read that right, youāre paying for rent (all utilities separate) plus another $20 just to log onto the portal and submit your payment. For some reason my account now shows an extra $25 āservice maintenance fee.āIām assuming this has something to do with me requesting maintenance as the unit was moved into with a faulty A/C unit as it was left on the entire time the unit was empty, and mutiple faulty outlets. I have yet to receive a proper explanation for this new and surprising $25 charge.
TLDR; Expect to be in the dark while Rental Zebra takes extra money from you without any explanation, nor the decency to respond to your texts and emails in a timely manner. I absolutely adore the property and the amazing agent who I toured the property with, and would love to be able to call this place a home, but not even one month in and I am already met with so many unpleasant surprises.
