I have come to this Salvation Army location for over years now for a variety of reasons and appreciate the services they offer freely.On my recent trip I went to get a box of food. The staff weren't the friendliest but they probably often deal with people that annoy them (or the 1 female asian office employee just doesn't like or appreciate her job).The other office lady was really nice but her response to my request for some sort of flyer (stating what they offer and on what days) surprised me. She said they didn't have one but she said she is working on it.What had surprised me was that when I said what organization I was a part of, she actually stated "they should all know this already".I thought that was insensitive and very presumptuous since a) new employees wouldn't know & b) I don't memorize every schedule of all the places I go to or refer people to for assistance and wouldn't expect anyone else to (hence the need for printed materials).It is for that reason they only get 4 stars.And the reason I took the time to write this is in hopes that they will read this review and learn from it.

Horrible!! Me and my friends went to get a little food and ended up throwing 90% of it away because everything except the can food was out of date expired and all the bread we got was moldy. I'll never go there again. How dare they ask for donations and give out food like that? I've always given them money during the holidays. I won't be doing that again either.
