I love this post office! It's such a cool building. It doesn’t give you that droney dmv feeling. Shoot... even the dmv is more comfortable than the other post offices. Yeah, it can get slow, but the clerks are providing the services that get your mail addressed correctly so it can make it to its destination. & I blame the customers for not coming in prepared (not having their item packaged &/or not having any kind of labels filled out. Ugh, thanks) for that. & the main clerk is kind, efficient & friendly & I'm always bummed when someone else is filling in for her.

We have lived in Merced at the same address for 4 months. In this period of time the Post Office has changed the lock on our mailbox 3 times! No reason given each time they issued new keys, just an "Oops, sorry!" I won't even go into how many weeks it took just to get mail delivered and packages delivered when we first moved here, or that every time that I took the time to drive over, walk in and ask I was told something different, made promises that were never kept, or lied to. This office is the most incompetent office I have ever dealt with in my entire life of any kind.

It doesn't know how to post anywhere that they are closed for whatever reason. I went there twice, second time had to take my grandchildren out in the heat walking for it to be closed. THANKS FOR NOTHING

Walked in right at 4:30pm, and they wouldnt help me because they close at 4:30pm. Maybe I have too high expectations, or they have too low standards?

Wow I just got hung up on by one of the employees there. I was still trying to ask some questions and he said he had a line, which is understandable, but he didn't even bother transferring me to someone else who can help me and just hung up. He was an older guy with an accent.

I really like this post office. It's got that old-timey vibe and it shares personnel with the M Street PO so there's usually a familiar face behind the counter. Unlike M Street,there is rarely a line, which gets major points from me. The biggest drawback is that the lobby counter is only open until about 3:00pm although the mail dropped off in the box is still picked up at 5:30.
