Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort is a cozy and phenomenal getaway, better than closer motels. It offers a retreat into the forest with rustic wooden cabins, beautiful morning views, and fresh air. The rooms and cabins are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a personal porch to enjoy the stunning fall colors. The location is excellent, just a 30-minute to one-hour beautiful drive from Yosemite Village. The on-site June Bug Cafe serves delicious food with big portions and plenty of vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The mineral bath is awesome. Common spaces include a kitchen, though it can sometimes be dirty from other guests. The bathrooms, toilets, and showers are clean, big, and spacious. Parking is available and close by. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and check-in is convenient. While generally very positive, one noted con is that the bathtub water may not turn warm.
i’ve been here so many times for bouldering trips to the valley. this place is phenomenal, way better than the motels that are closer to the valley. sure it’s a little further away, but it’s cozier, there are common spaces, a kitchen and the food at the restaurant is way better.

Bathrooms and toilets are clean. Kitchen was big enough for few people but dirty, sharing people are so horrible can't clean after themselves.
