Dr. Innes treated our Siamese kitty for 10 years with competency and compassion. He treated my mother's Siamese for 10 years before that. An exceptional vet who doesn't push unnecessary treatments but works to make sure the cat has the best quality of life. The assistants are wonderful too, incredibly caring. The place was like home for us in the difficult last days of her life. Thank you Dr. Innes and staff!

i have been going to Cat Clinic for years and have always had quality care at a fair price. Dr. Innes is a cat whisperer that is amazing and cares dearly for any cat that walks ...err, unwillingly hauled.. through the door. I considered switching to another cat clinic because Mill Valley is a tid bit far from where I moved, but after a recent scare, Cat Clinic was able to help me see my cat in a pinch and I am firmly willing to suck up the extra distance. Why? I was worried that my cat was refusing food, and literally no clinic in the Bay Area was able to see him on the same day. Not only was Dr. Innes able to fit him into his schedule, but he did not insist on 50 cat (or CAT) scans or bloodwork tests that would assuredly cost an arm and a leg. He simply felt around my cat's abdomen and neck to check for pain before determining that he probably just needed an anti-nausea shot to get my cat feeling fine about eating kibble again. Sure enough, my cat was right as rain in no time. Love Dr. Innes and will come back in the future for sure.

I have been taking my cats to Dr.Dave for over 15 years. We moved north 5 years ago and tried to find something closer and have decided it’s wroth the drive as I have never found anyone at a better price or more loving than the Cat Clinic.
I want to add that most vets in Marin don’t offer a payment plan, on time when I was in the waiting room a PG&E worker came in, I over herd the conversation and he was making his last payment for his cat being very sick and Dave cared for him back to good health. He was very greatful.

I’m currently shaking while writing this review. Oh my god. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect and malice.
I should start from the top. I’m very low income. I have food stamps and don’t make much money. When I noticed my cat had recently received a rather nasty looking laceration, I started researching places around Marin to bring her. The cat clinic was the first place that popped up. I gave them a call, and sent them a picture of the cat. “Aww, no worries. We’ll fix her up. Please bring the cat in, we prioritize animals above all else” After which, they gave me a quote for about 150 dollars. She also offered me a payment plan if need be. Perfect, I thought. Relatively inexpensive, and I get the care my cat needs.
Fast forward to the appointment, everything is fine until payment time comes. The cost was not 150 dollars, but 700 dollars. This of course shocked me. Why would it be so much more expensive? I told the receptionist, and with the meanest attitude, she told me that’s just how much it costs. Excuse me?? What do you mean? How do you, first, misquote someone, and then secondly, act incredibly rudely towards that person when they are surprised by the wrong price. After this, I am guided to see the cat. The doctor who preformed the surgery tells me that it’s inexcusable that I am unable to pay the fee. Having clear distress in my voice, I told him what happened. Suddenly, he seemed to sporadically freak out. My cat was next to him during this, and she truly looked mortified. Almost like he did this to frighten my cat. I thought he was legitimately going to harm her. With no mention of the payment plan, he cusses me out and shoots me out of the room with my cat. They ended up charging me 200, which is all I allotted to spend in the first place. They all seemed extremely upset, and I was genuinely concerned they committed veterinary malpractice against my cat. After the payment was made, I tried to ask about after care instructions. She promptly said, “that’s not our problem anymore”. After cussing us out, we were kicked out of the clinic. With a distressed cat in hand, and after being verbally assaulted.
I don’t know what to do now. My cat is in distress, and she has sutures with no instructions if things are to go wrong. I don’t know what to look for. I am worried for my pet.
So finally, after this very long review, I am BEGGING YOU. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not come here. I cannot urge you enough to never ever come here in your life. If you value your pet, you wouldn’t put them through what my cat was put through.
I would leave -5 stars if I could, but I can’t unfortunately. It’s clear where their priorities lie. In the money. That’s all.

I have been taking my cats here for almost 30 years. The best cat care ever! The staff and doctors are kind and compassionate individuals who sincerely care about our furry kiddos.

Kind compassionate care. I've been with the cat clinic for years and have have only had good experiences. When my 18 year old cat was at end of life the vet was gentle and kind and made a very tough situation less stressful.

The vet here is amazing, but you and your cat (stuck in a carrier) can literally wait hours to see him because they will not make appointments. Can be very stressful for all involved. The tradeoffs are no longer worth it for us. I see plenty of others are willing to sit indefinitely, in a hot waiting room. I'm more likely to keep up with my cats care if we don't have to stress out and potentially sacrifice half the day to "no appointment."

Dave is the absolute best Veterinarian I have ever had the luck to come across. He is honest, just, and compassionate. I have been taking my cats to him for 14 years and I do not look forward to the day he retires. He is so WONDERFUL!!!!

Nicest staff around at a vet that sees only cats, which my cat prefers!

Step into the portal of another universe, The Cat Clinic Lobby. Meet Pockets, Mittens, Paws, Steve and Mr. Tuxedo. Talk with other crazy cat people while your cat chats uncomfortably with the kitty in the seat next to yours. Rrreow rrerow, meow, and hiss. I've had more than my fair share of Cat Clinic visits over the past several years and have covered the full gamut of kitty life and death experiences there. I am so grateful to have this place as part of our community. Paulie Furballi and I love this place... well Paulie is more hiss hiss on the joint but we're grateful to have Dave (a true cat wizard) and his fantastic staff right down the street.

Dr Innes is the best! I appreciate his conservative, knowledgeable approach with what is necessary instead of lots of worrisome possibilities. One step at a time. Great bedside manner for both kitty owner and kitty. Doesn't rush the conversation. Very reasonable prices. Staff is always great- responsive on the phone, organized in the office, easy for them to consult with Dr Innes for quick questions. Thank you!

Cat Clinic is the BEST! My cats have been coming here for a long time. Dr David Innes took such good care of my old kitty until the end. My new cat is also a patient of the clinic, I would take her no place else. Staff is also wonderful and kind. Sure, at times they get pretty busy, but I have never felt neglected. I would hope that before someone come on social media to criticize, they actually contact the clinic and discuss the issue.

We were visiting for a few weeks, our Ragdoll stopped eating, drinking for 3 days...looked like death warmed up..found catclinic..on the weekend. Got her right in, took all tests, told us what to do overnight...not going to believe this..we got a call Sun nite from Dr. Inness to update ...brought her back in for supportive care...her IBD had returned...3 days later she,s back to being her bossy, opinionated flamepoint self, eating. drinking plus the other things ...the entire team is expert in cats, and a delight.
