best salon in the bay area! amazing people work there and they give me great curly haircuts, highlights, and blowouts. i also got my prom hair done here and it was gorg. i hear their waxing is good but i've never gotten it.

I have been seeing Lorna for many years now. Every time she does an amazing job on my color and cut. There was a gap where I could not see her and went to a salon in Japan town. I had only wanted a few highlights but the guy bleached my hair all over and it started falling out, then he tried dying it back and it turned green. Absolutely horrible experience. This was one year ago. Anyway, I came to see Lorna almost crying and thinking it was over. She recommended some products to use to repair my hair and to come back in a few weeks. When I eventually came to see her she cut off all the dead ends while styling and toning it closer to my natural shade of blonde. She made it appear as if nothing bad had ever happened! Over the course of the year I've gone from green to blonde, then brown and now I am at this beautiful shade of red. Lorna is a magician!

I have been seeing Diana Drevers for my hair color for over 15 years. She ensures a quality hair color that's appropriate for my skin tone and I receive many compliments on the color whether it's reddish brown, red, brown with blonde low/high lights. After coloring my hair is very soft, shiny, natural looking and vibrant. The atmosphere is very mellow and relaxing.

In town for a few days and had to find someone to cut my hair. I went to Elements but only one person was working on a Monday. But she called one of the stylist and left my number with her. 15 minutes I got a call from Jamie?, asking if I can be there in 30 minutes. I went back and got a terrific haircut. Wonderful service...If I was living here permanently, this would be my number 1 salon. Well done!

Kara has been highlighting and cutting my hair for... 15 years. I get stopped in my office ALL the time by girls asking me who does my hair. I'm a blonde and over the years I have tried other salons and even (cringe)...box colors when for one reason or another (impulse/impatience) I have not been able to get in to see Kara. No one can achieve the natural-looking, beautiful blonde that Kara can. She understands hair. Like what styles will work well with your hair's thickness, texture and lifestyle. And I don't know how she does the color, but it's awesome! She knows that I don't come in very often (two MAYBE three times a year) so she does the highlights/lowlights in a way that I can let my roots grow out and it still looks natural...no line...but my hair is still a pretty light blonde. I've had very short, pixie style cuts to long, below the shoulder length hair. Kara knows how to do it all. Even when I come in with "botched" hair she fixes it. In addition to all of her expertise she's a delightful person. I look forward to seeing her soon!

All I can say is Misty is AWESOME.... not only did she give me the best set of highlights I've had in years, I love the fact she took the time to talk to me about what I wanted.. and offered different options to keep my hair healthy and strong in between visits.... I wish I could give her 10 stars...

Misty has been making me look fabulous for over 15 years! She is so fantastic that I drive up from where I now live in San Jose to get my hair done every two months. I refuse to spend more than 10 minutes a day on my hair, and she makes that completely possible. I am constantly getting asked who does my hair, and have actually had at least 4 different friends drive up from the South Bay to get their hair done by Misty as well. Not only does MIsty consistently do an amazing job technically, she is funny, personable, professional, and actually LISTENS to what you want. I love Misty and will follow her to any salon, anywhere. I seriously think I would look into airfares if I ever had to move farther away!

I cannot begin to describe how much I love my awesome, hilarious, gorgeous and talented hairstylist, Misty. I discovered her through my mom's friend, I am delighted/embarrassed to tell you, and have moved with her from The Parlor to Elements, where she now works (magic.) Basically, I'll follow Misty to the ends of the earth. And here is why: I am a total slacker about my hair and when I finally get around to calling her up and begging for her talents, Misty always fits me right in. Not only that, but we spend our entire time together in hysterics. Misty is wise in the ways of the world. I adore her. She's fast, she's funny and she's super cool. So cool, in fact, that upon hearing that crazy internet psychos were talking smack in the comments section of "my blog or website", Misty went online and defended my honor.
