DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE! These people are crazy. Their rudeness, their aggressive behavior is off the charts. This is a couple that obviously has not worked on themselves at all. They can't deal with anything at all except taking your money. I bought a beautiful dress quite a while ago and had never worn it -- it actually still has the tag. I wanted to put it on a couple of days ago. And when I got it out, it started shedding like crazy. The leather part was flaking completely. I went to the store expecting first an apology, and I was hoping I could get some kind of store credit. I paid over $300 bucks for it! I didn't expect the full price, but I figured it was only fair to get some kind of store credit in order to purchase something else. Well, these monsters threw me out of the store and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. Unreal! They took no responsibility whatsoever. No apology, no normal and decent reaction to see what could be done. Completely reactive, bellicose and combative attitude. Avoid them like the plague!

I had the most horrific experience at this store today. I witnessed an elderly employee forcefully grab clothes out of young girls hand. I was appalled. To the obviously incompetent employees and store owner, you have lost a long time fan and supporter.

horrible experience. beautiful clothes. the woman who worked there just sat and watched me the whole time i was looking at things. the clothes were amazing and soft and i'm plus size and there were clothes that stretched and clothes that fit me there. the woman at the counter came around and snatched the clothes away from me that i was going to try on and said "we don't have your size here." i was completely shocked because the clothes WERE in my size. never going back. if you're looking for a rich bitch grandma store. this is it.

The staff at Mili's in Mill Valley, California was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I was sorting through the racks and suddenly one of the staff began repositioning every piece as she stood beside me with an air of disgust. When I got to the third section, I told her that she was making me feel uncomfortable. I did not say this but it felt like as if you're eating in a restaurant and they're vacuuming under your table while you're eating. She then replied that I was moving merchandise in a way that would put too much weight on one side. I said," OK I understand you concern "but she continued despite my effort to move things less.I then asked where something was and she pointed to a general direction and offered no help. She never smiled. She never made eye contact. She effectively made me so uncomfortable that I left the store.As I left, she and the man behind the counter YELLED, " you're welcome". I stopped in my tracks shocked and turned around and went back in. I asked if they were talking to me? They loudly said yes and accused me of being (are you ready for this), "aggressive with the clothes"! What? I was moving each piece aside to see the next. I told them I have worked in retail throughout my life and have never experienced treatment like theirs. She replied," then you should know better, you were not respectful to our clothes." What? They were both arrogant, rude and disrespectful. I have never experienced treatment such as this in a retail setting in my life . However upon searching the reviews here I see this is a pattern for them. I would never set foot in there again or advise anybody else to.

This was my first shopping experience at Milli and it will definitely not be the last! Milli, the fabulous owner was incredibly warm and helpful. She made incredible suggestions and I left with several timeless, sophisticated pieces that I cannot wait to incorporate into my wardrobe. Thank you Milli!!

Lesson learned. Never again. I wonder how many others will never return because of their ridiculous return policy. I bought a beautiful and expensive pair of shoes here. The heel broke off on the first time that I wore them but it was a couple of weeks after I bought them so they refused to give me my money back. So rude and demeaning.

For some reason, even though I have lived in Mill Valley for years, it has taken me a long time to walk into Mili across from the Depot. I am SO glad I did. With the help and learned eye of the owner, I spent a few hours going through a slew of fun, comfortable, hip clothing that I have needed for years but could not find in San Francisco, LA, or New York. I especially appreciate the versatile jackets that can also be worn as tops. And the price points are respectable but reasonable! My only issue was what to leave behind in the dressing room as I truly wanted it all. I am excited to find such a treasure trove in my own back yard. Thank you, Mili!

Absolutely fabulous store with great brands and real quality stuff! Mili and Paul are GREAT! They remember you as a customer and are great at recommending things that you will love. They also have great sales!
