I LOVE this store, BUT . . . . . . if the GOODWILL DROP OFF leaves, I will not be shopping at this location as very much. After 2 relative deaths, I've been cleaning out a 3,000 sq ft home and NEED the drop off items for the rest of this year, + it's only February "24. This location is critical for SOUTHERN MARIN ! SAVE GOODWILL!

if you all buy a bunch of groceries and dont bag them your self & then complain the store didnt bag your items for you heres some advice: bag your own darn items!!! (of course with the exclusion of senior citizens or any disability or physical injury) thank you to all the humans working countless hours working minimum wage

Its a solid grocery store no complaints at all workers are great etc etc. The pharmacy however is horrible. The line is always super long and once you finally make it to the front of the line there always seems to be some crazy issue that of course is never their fault. The pharmacists aren't rude or anything but my god If you have the choice look elsewhere.

I went in pretty late after my shift around 9. I bought some ice cream and headed towards the exit. Then I hear a Safeway employee yelling at a boy for stealing, fair enough, but then he starts coming at me. The doors aren’t opening and I freeze. The man then accused me of stealing and wanted to see my receipt. I didn’t take my receipt. I went non verbal because there was a man yelling at me after my long shift. For context I’m an 18 year old girl. I went back to get my receipt and the cashier lady was very nice and told the man (who followed me to the cashier) that I had indeed paid and gave me my receipt. He then started yelling at me that I should always have my receipt and I “should’ve said I bought it”. Like he would’ve believed me? Also he’s a grown man yelling at a young girl. I left the store. It was a terrible experience.

I have been shopping here for decades and almost without exception your employees are the best but today I met your exception. I am sorry that this pretty woman was working as a cashier on a holiday but her mood toward customers did not match her appearance. It is not our fault that she was unhappy. Don’t take it out on customers as we can and will find other places to shop where they treat us decently

Just came out after another bad experience, not the fist time bit I keep going back thinking it will get better. The checker at least said hello this time. She asked me what kinda vegetable I had, I told her a rutabaga. She then charged me for black radishes instead. I asked the loss preventionperson if i could speak with a supervisor to get it corrected and was told to wait at self checkout for her. I waited for about 10 minutes while he spent the entire time on his phone while wearing a pair of black sunglasses. The supervisor walked passed me and got back on her register. The customer service here just sucks, its the worst I have ever seen. I actually work at another grocery store so I get it I totally understand how it can be at times, but this level of service is deplorable.

My Daughter is a student at Tam and as usual she went to buy a drink on her lunch break , a $2.50 drink ended up costing her bank debit account to get wiped out . I got a bank alert from my bank alerting me about her account dropping to 0 after speaking to my daughter and confirming with her about this ridiculous transaction I headed over to Safeway and explained why I was there and provided the customer service Lady with bank accounts proof . She had me wait about 15 min . Then returned and said where’s the card I’m going to refund the card . What is upsetting is that I had to ask her ok can I please have an explanation? How was my daughters Debit card completely wiped out .. So fishy and weird to me . She said the cashier made a mistake, I’m still confused and not happy because it doesn’t make sense I need a real explanation before I can trust shopping there again. It’s upsetting that My daughter was left with no cash in her debit card This is not aceptable very inconvenient for her .why not refund with cash if she used her debit card and most importantly a real explanation with details so that I can feel that this was not something fraudulent. People please check and monitor your accounts. This is not ok !!

Since when it has become cheaper to shop at Whole Foods? The prices are getting crazy here! Not to mention it is an healthier option at WF and employees seem better paid there. Unfortunately I’m ditching Safeway. No longer an option for my daily groceries

Pretty alright grocery store. I wish the building was a little bit nicer and it engaged with the community a little better.
