At the checkout as I have flu, purchasing musinex. Your checkout women needs to learn to not treat every customer as a potential drug addict because they might need flu medication. Empathy in staff goes a long way! I am tired of the poorly manners of Californians, zero empathy, zero kindness, zero understanding. Generations of poor culture! Please Safeway train your staff member “Lesley” to be more decent to clients.

This place is a disorganized jumble of aisles that have terrible flow. Ten years ago, I had moved away from the area and forgot the mess they made with the weird layout. Now I am back and yikes! They would do well to eliminate all the odd angles in the back and widen their aisles. Also, put the medicine aisles next to the pharmacy. I have a hard time finding items mainly because of the odd flow of the place.

Love loved loved this place. Best Safeway hands down. Has great sushi, friendly people and a wide variety of amazing produce and meats. Better than whole food on Mill Avenue and less expensive than Trader Joes in Larkspur. Just an overall great place and had everything I needed. I recived a message that I had medication ready for pick up at this loction. I am not a local and have never been to this safeway. I googled the adress that appeared in the message and called the store directly. I spoke to someone name Jason, they asked me for my DOB and I gave it to them so they can see if they find me on file. He told me that a doctor sent in the RX early today, and he sounded off after that and told me that it was a different person with the same DOB and name. I asked him if this was happening to others because my number was attched to this "other person" file. He hung up on me. I am writing this to the public in case this happens to anyone else. I will be following up with a police report just in case.
