Surf and Sand is a lovely, cool lifestyle boutique and gem in Mill Valley. It provides a unique, fantastic experience with a wonderful peaceful vibe, comfortable and full of light. The store features a beautifully curated selection of clothes, accessories, and apothecary items. It carries ethically made goods, sustainable brands, and female-owned brands that are difficult to find elsewhere. The merchandise is great, of good quality, and for reasonable prices by Mill Valley standards, with new items rotated in regularly. The customer service is great, with staff described as authentic, welcoming, genuinely personable, and making great personal recommendations. The owner has beautiful taste and puts her whole heart and passion into the store. It is definitely worth stopping by when in the area.
I bought a left on Friday bikini here last year and love it! It's comfortable and washes and wears really well. Planning to come back for a one piece.

This is a gem in Mill Valley. It has great merchandise for reasonable prices. I live in downtown Mill Valley and don't know of any store in the area that has such great customer service.

The lovely shop owner, Lauren, has curated a beautiful selection of clothing, accessories, beauty products, and home items from organic and sustainable brands. I wish I lived closer to Mill Valley so I could visit more often, especially when she has in-store events! Can't wait to visit again the next time I'm in town!
