This is our favorite SFO airport hotel and we have stayed in dozens. Aloft properties are always clear winners and this location is no exception. We loved our smooth and efficient check in, airport shuttle, ramen vending machine in the lobby, and a sweet gym. The receptionist was also very friendly and accommodating. We will 100% stay here again before or after a flight. There are a number of excellent places to eat nearby. Even though it is near SFO, we never heard planes while in the room. We also liked the pure blackout shades for a good sleep.Rooms: Rooms are superb with good soundproofing, great water pressure, comfortable beds, clean sheets, and awesome blackout curtains. Also, plenty of bedside outlets for charging all your devices.Food & drinks: Lots of options in the lobby including a bar and a ramen noodle vending machine that had surprisingly delicious soup. There were many beer and liquor options as well. Lots of candy and chips and drinks to choose from.Noteworthy details: Smooth operating entry and exit gates make in and outs a breeze.

Good hotel close to airport with frequent shuttle. Nice bar. Expensive and practically full parking.

Very close to the airport: I was very disappointed with the food and the service from the bartender/waitress. On the way to the hotel I looked at the menu to know kind of what to expect. When I looked at the menu at the bar I noticed that the drinks were $10 then what it said on the website menu. When I got down there the lady that was tending the bar handed me a menu and took her 20 minutes to come back from the back room, no one else was at the bar so she wasn’t grabbing anything. Then when I got my drink I noticed it was like not even a drink. I had to ask for a food menu and I was informed that they were only doing a selection of food. When I got the check my drink was originally $21 but got charged for $25, she was annoyed that she had to change it and she never apologized and gave a reason, she rolled her eyes and huffed that she had to change the price. My food wasn’t that great, my burger was still cold in the middle and the fries were soggy and cold. No reason to spend $20 hereRooms: Rooms were nice very modern high tech but the bedding isn’t clean. Woke up with my eyes swollen and looked at the sheets and the sheets weren’t clean

I give 1 for service because the wifi is unusable. Neither my laptop nor my phone will even connect because the signal is so weak. To say free wifi, should mean we can actually use it.And yes, I was able to connect to other wifi networks fine. Only yours was causing an issue.

Thank you for providing the shuttles. It was very convenient. The room was so modern. I loved the shower.

Clean rooms, next to the airport, and has a free shuttle every 15 minutes. The hotel doesn’t look it, but it is VERY big. The “loft” suits are wayyyyy in the back and it’s quite the walk, but the rooms are very nice. Obviously being close to the airport you will hear the planes taking off and landing. The restaurant isn’t great, serves limited pub snacks. The Westin hotel next door has a restaurant (pricy). The hotel has a meeting room and pool.

The rooms are always great and the pool is wonderful but the lack of a breakfast bar is a slight problem. There are pick and pay options for food but it is limited. The noise from the airport is pronounced if you are facing it but light if you are lucky enough to be facing away.

Elaina My flight got delayed and the arrival time change until 12:30 am now. I try to contact the hotel as early as I get this information so that they know i am going to arrive late. But the front desk manager Elaina rejected this and they to marked me as no-show since i didn't check in at 3pm and they can't hold the room. They also blame me on didn't contact them before 3 pm to generate a refund. By 3 pm West coast time, I don’t even know that my flight is going to delay (I notified them this info at 4:30 pm west coast time, right after I knew my flight is delayed). Asking everyone to check in at 3 pm is also unreasonable. Their way of solving this problem is to ask you to rebook as you arrived ?As an hotel near the airport, this is completely unreasonable and rude to the customer, and really not caring and value the costumer’s needs. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who might arrive late since they think everyone should “check-in” at 3 pm?.

24/7 automated ramen machine with 8 choices of different noodle dishes. Staff here are very friendly . Rooms are modern and in excellent condition.

Really good option for people who have early flights or connections that want to stay near SFO, they have free shuttle bus as well. The little bistro and noodle bar is great as well. Totally recommend it!

I really love this hotel. It has an airport shuttle Near water Near dimsum Has ramen in lobby but they sell out :(

About two months I used the long term parking service of this hotel. The distance from the airport, the service and the cost have been initially all very satisfactory. Unfortunately things became very disappointing when I accidentally forgot one of my luggage in the shuttle bus from the airport upon my return. I immediately called the morning after asking if they kept my luggage aside, but they claimed it wasn't found. This is very suspicious, as the shuttle only service this hotel. So sad that someone just took it, with all my daughter's clothes, toys and memories we have inside it. After two months, still no follow up beside vague apologizes. I guess the shuttle bus or someone else of the hotel had stolen my luggage and I will never see it back. Be aware!
