We had our taxes done at this location this year. When we showed up to our appointment, the agent we reserved was not in yet so they assigned us to Myrna. When she saw our documents, she became overwhelmed and asked us to come back later while she worked on our taxes. When we came back after everything was completed, she had us file everything before we were able to double check it. It turns out that she incorrectly filled out one of our incomes twice and we paid $4300 over in taxes. We are still waiting for that refund 2+ months later. I don’t understand why we paid $700 for her to file our taxes incorrectly when we could’ve done it better ourselves for free. Will not be coming back to this location.

Excellent service! I've been using their service for the 3rd year in a row now, Merci is the accountant who made it extremely easy every year. The first year I made an appointment, I lived nearby, but since then I moved away and continue doing the appointments remotely. Not only is she efficient, but she's also knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and very nice. I am the person who is stressed when tax season comes around as it seems hard, put she does her job greatly.
Definitely highly reccomend :)

Worst experience ever. The advisor my husband and I met with couldn’t answer any of our questions and I left more confused than when we got there. Complete waste of our time. I attempted to call the customer service phone number that the person that responds to reviews on here has listed and I can’t even get through to anyone.

Make appointment at the front desk and even got a name card but when arrived on appointment day no one is there only one adviser there and say the adviser I had didn’t work that day!!!! Then why make appointment for me?! And say there’s no other adviser coming that day and ask me to reschedule….

I originally used their online service which actually never notified me a 2020 return was rejected. So I went in for help preparing the 2020 return and penalties. My taxes are relatively complex, but not crazy. I met with a person who was a nice gentleman and after understanding the issue, took my printed return and IRS letter, and requested my source documents. I emailed him 6 well labeled, organized emails with attachments with all the source documents. He emailed back saying he refused to prepare my return from my printed return and needed the source documents when I emailed him checking to see if he received everything. I called twice. One week later, he called saying he didn't have the source documents. I described the emails and he said he had gotten them, but they only had half the attachments. I can see in my sent folder they are small sized and have all the attachments. He still claims he can't prepare my taxes because he doesn't have the source documents...which is absurd. I don't understand if he can't use email attachments, or can't do the taxes and needs an excuse to get out of them, but regardless I need to hire someone who can. There is no responsiveness and no ability to do anything complex here. Definitely pay more and go somewhere else if you have even a slight complication on your returns. Obviously fees and penalties on a return I didn't realize wasn't filed is my problem, but them knowing this and completely ignoring the topic and multiple calls and emails a week (I'm sure longer if I hadn't pulled the work) and incurring more penalties wasting time certainly isn't helpful either.

I scheduled a appointment with this office on March 16, at 10am. The person that I was given Diane P. came out at 10:18am. I already got the impression that she was not having a good day. She has no idea about me or the history of my previous tax return. I tried to talk to her about my needs, but she rushed through the process of getting my taxes done. I was made to feel so stupid and ignorant that I don't know about these things; but she does. She made excuses that her hands hurt because she was in an accident and there was flooding in her garage. Though I can feel sorry for her, I was paying Block Advisors to do my taxes and she was on my time. She made it clear that we were done at 11 and followed me out the door to make sure I paid.Bottom line...after dealing with this office for two years, I have been through a nightmare with them. I will never recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use Block Advisors again. This review doesn't deserve a star at all!!!
