I was pleased with the banking services and Branch Manager UNTIL they recent transferred $80,000 out my account to another bank, Comenity Bank, which was requested by a "Fraudster" and returned by Comenity Bank because they declined Fraudster's applications for a new account. Comerica transferred EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM MY ACCOUNT without verifying that I requested it. ONCE i discovered this I went to the branch to talk to the Manager and that day, discovered a $54,000+ disbursement from my account to Carvana. The Manager called their Fraud Department and were told "it's in process" so they can't do anything, UNTIL." The Manager filed a DISPUTE but would not guarantee I would get my money back, we just have to wait till tomorrow (AND WHY IS THIS?!?)..." They gave me a number to call for check fraud but they were gone for the day. They told me the next day that their department didn't handle ACH matters and I am getting a "It's not my job" vibe and questioning why I ever banked here. One would think they would be reaching out to me but NOOO...so I called them and still no assurance that I will get the money COMERICA BANK mishandled BACK. "Let me check on that..." Hours pass, no word, have to call for an update, still no disposition and this is another day thinking I may have lost $54,000+ so fitful sleep and amazement, in a bad way, that a bank would be so irresponsible and not have better security procedures in place. YOU; COMERICA BANK MISHANDLED $80,000 and allowed a draw of $54,000+ without checking with me and lots of red flags showing on the transaction records that should arise suspicions and investigation and contacting the true account owner. Once again with EMPHASIS, Comerica Bank mishandled $134,000 of my deposits and YES I AM CONTACTING THE FDIC to complain about poor security and lack of concern for stressing out a good customer, perhaps in the name of "CYA." To help others avoid the sour feeling that you almost lost $134,000 from a supposedly safe bank account that you kept an inheritance at. I will add more grimy details later, I want to post this now before I end up letting it go because the Manager is a friend of mine. I was really disappointed in the treatment I received and less capable people could suffer from this type of situation and seeming lack of concern in the name of Comerica Bank so I'm calling FOUL on Comerica Bank. Up next, letter to FDIC with cc to the VP and President of Comerica, headquartered in Texas. To be continued

This branch is terrible. Tellers asking too much personal information (non bank related). The manager Lisa basically caters to Asian clientele, so if you are of any other nationality don't expect any courtesy.

Comerica is very convenient with good parking and a friendly staff. I very seldom have to wait in line and unlike other banks, when you call or come in they know you by name. I've e been banking there for over 5 years, I think it is the best establishment I have ever banked with.

I have many business and personal accounts with Comerica Millbrae. Branch Manager to all of its employees are eager to help and well qualified bankers. I do not agree with person below at all. Sure, it is not as big as B of A. But, I chose to bank with Comerica because they are so helpful and personable. You won't find any children pretending to be grown up here. Any issues or problems you have with bank, will be resolved right away. It is a hidden gem of a bank in Millbrae. Once you try them, you will find out the difference. (Own parking and constant security, a big plus)

There is a time and place when communication is highly important and if you want to repeat yourself 10 times until you are understood, then this branch is the one for you. I only came here for a large safe deposit box that I was able to get. I have to admit, this place is pretty bad. It feels like a morgue coming in, since they never have employees nor clients in the branch. After speaking with an employee, you can tell why there are no people coming in. End story, I felt the need to go home and rate them poorly on the grounds of communication, service, friendliness, professionalism and over all poor customer service.

I love a bank that makes you feel like you are their best customer. I just opened an account on line, but stopped here to do some business. Ronny was so friendly and helpful. He even told me about an account promo that I missed and called me later to confirm it was all set. Nice! I think I'm gonna like this place :)
