This place is conveniently close to the San Francisco Airport. And their breakfast is decent. "Ana", of the receptionist was amazing. That's about all the positive things I can say about this place. It's quite expensive for what you get. $182 a night for a 2-queen beds room.No indoor pool. Outdoor pool but not heated.Worst of all, they truly have a problem with their billing system.... They placed holds/pending charges 7-8 times for the same room during my stay! I would receive 2-3 'pending charges' of $182.... and then 3-4 pending charges for $362.... Thankfully, they all went away (almost) correctly, but in the meantime, your credit limit goes down! Ridiculous. Every single day we stayed there (5 days) I had to pester Ana with these credit card issues... The manager there too was very friendly and understanding.Would I go back? Maybe.Would I give them my credit card ever again? Hell no! Book thru Expedia, and PAY thru Expedia.

Vlad’s right. You don’t go to In-N-Out and get frustrated because they don’t have steak on the menu. It’s not luxury and is priced accordingly. The staff was super accommodating and warm on my recent stay, as my internal clock was still in Europe and I needed to crash early in a quiet room. Mine (on the top) was silent (though I do use a noise app, piped into a small Bluetooth speaker—this has saved my life).Upon entering there was for sure a cleaning smell; opening the window and door for a few minutes helped a lot. Sensory adaptation did too.My room was also exceptionally clean. It was also pretty big, with a very good bed and a small seating area. Big enough for two people to do yoga or, you know, whatever. The rain shower, hot and high-pressure, was a kind of heaven first thing in the morning. The lack of a pay-to-play shuttle didn’t bother me too much; Vlad’s right. The shuttle is kaput. No more shuttle. Buh bye. My taxi to was $22 and my Lyft from was $18. Vlad got fleeced.Walkability: There’s a TJ’s and a huge Safeway a 15-minute walk away, as well as many Chinese restaurants, at least one Mexican, and some others. The area looks sketchier than it is.

You do get what you pay for.Let me start by saying that there is NO shuttle to the airport -- that stopped in October '23 according to the staff. Chances are, you're looking at this because you expect there to be one. Taxi or Uber to/from the airport is quite expensive despite the proximity - I paid $35 for the Uber at night! The room is equipped with a loud AC/heater that blows directly at the bed. Had to turn it on because the amount of industrial Febreeze they spray (or pour?) in the room is just insane. One has got to wonder what kind of smells they're attempting to cover up.In my room, bathtub doesn't drain properly when taking a shower. Same thing with the sink.Room cleaning is by request, one day prior. Breakfast from 7am only in case you're taking an early flight..Incredibly loud sound when someone in the room upstairs turns on water.Positives: genuinely great, friendly staff. There is a coffee machine in the room. Almost all buttons work on the TV remote...

This Hotel is very affordable. However the time I stayed, there was an awful smell for 2 days straight. It may have been the cleaner they were using. I assume other complaints were made, I noticed a heavy perfume scent in my room, I doubt it was left over from the last guests.Im assuming everyone smelled it too, no one stayed outside for anything, no one went to the pool, nor the gym.The window in my second floor room actually opened fully, which I loved, however the frame of the screen was broken, and the screen was largely torn, I no longer felt comfortable leaving the window open, even though it was such nice weather. The jets in the tub do not work in he room I stayed in.The Staff was the nicest staff i have ever had! Very helpful with everything. My cardkey demagnetized at one point, but the staff took care of that so quickly. There is an Airport Shuttle, it is not free, nor does it run 24 Hours, FYIRooms: Rooms are dated, but matches the price

These jerks refused to refund a room that I was unable to use due to a flight delay that got me into SFO more than 8 hours later than expected. They took my hard earned money, and provided no service. It didn’t cost them anything. They weren’t fully booked. They didn’t have to clean the room, or check me in, or feed me breakfast. Nothing. They took my money for nothing and didn’t give it back. Bunch of crooks. I’ve been staying at La Quinta properties for decades, and have never had a bad experience until now, but this is just a slap in the face.

Room clean with small kitchen and fridge, comfy bathroom. Elevator from parking straight into level. A bit of walk to the room. View of rooftops and airport train from the kitchen. The only thing we didnt like - when we turned the AC on it smelled like pee lol.

one of the best "La Quinta"sbecause it's located near the airport you might hear planes during the night, but sound is not to scary.breakfast can be improved by adding vegetables, but it's about all "La Quinta"s

A comfortable place to stay within close proximity of the airport. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel parking was easy to find and use. The swimming pool looked welcoming, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy it. The rooms are comfortable and accessible.

Older hotel in OK area. Ended up, not completing my stay because when I arrived back to the hotel, then the next day from work, there was a huge fly in the middle of the the kitchenette, and there were maggots all around. I have no clue where they came from but I do know they should not have been there. Decided to check out immediately. when I called the front desk to let them know, the attendant expressed zero remorse and was extremely nonchalant about the issue. She did not apologize or say that. shouldn’t of happened. She just said she would have the manager look into it. I requested to be refunded for that night and she said I’d have to take it up with the manager. I would not recommend this property and will likely never stay at a La quinta again. Oh, and I have receipts. If management reads this, I would highly recommend customer service training for your evening staff. Receipts attached. can’t make this stuff up.

Great stopover hotel near airport. Shuttles to and from airport (small charge). Large quiet, clean rooms with comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. Service was excellent. Value for money.

First time I’ve had a bad review before leaving the front desk. Traveling like I do every week for work and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of a Hotel charging $20 to park in their own giant empty parking lot. It’s not like this is downtown, this is South San Francisco in the middle of nowhere out by the airport. And even worse they’re making me pay for it instead of the company card that pre-paid for the room. She arrogantly said all the hotels charge to park. I informed her that I stayed at about 75 hotels last year and not one of them charged me to park. I hope the maids understand why they’re not getting tips. Like, who would stay here if they didn’t have a car, there’s literally nothing around for miles. Then I get to the room and it’s very mid. An above average best western quality at best. Like they ordered the cheapest of everything in here from the microwave to the ice bucket to the countertop to the desk. “Just give us 330 of the cheapest of everything.”Noteworthy details: $20 parking in a giant empty lot in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are very chintzy.

Excellent staff, rooms in decent condition, pool heater not functional, elevator is scary condition. $20 fee for taxi to airport. Recommended driver at hotel should know that Air transat is at the international terminal (forced a long walk on us)

Horrible experience!! We have a trip to South Korea from Houston. Our flight at 11:55pm was moved the following day due to some circumstances. I have a 7 year old son and my husband and our teenage son. Since we’re not familiar here in SFO we tried to Google the hotel nearby within our budget. When we tried to book it says we can pay the booking at the location. I called the hotel around 12am and a lady in charge named Pattie (I don’t know the right spelling of her name) said she can reserve the room for us but she needs my credit card info. Told her that will pay the hotel when we get there because I am not comfortable giving the credit card info. The price that she supposed to charge us was over $300 for one BR. She didn’t say anything when I told her that we’ re just few minutes away and will be there. Being an old school I don’t know how to get ride until it took us a while to download Uber.We arrived few minutes past 1am at the hotel. My whole family were excited because we finally can rest especially our youngest son. It was very exhausting trip for all of us and Pattie said that she couldn’t give us the room because it’s over 1am. Told her that I called past 12am. Asked her if can she not reconsider since we don’t know other options and we’re not from the area and we will be checking out earlier because our Flt is 10:40am. She was not friendly enough and no customer service skills when she responded me. I was surprised of her actions. We were very upset about our experience and we were waiting outside the hotel for 10mins to get another ride. I was hoping she’s friendly enough and when I called about the reservation Pattie should be kind enough to inform me about the policies. She could have done it politely which she didn’t. Very bad experience and people like her should not be in customer service as she doesn’t know how to treat people appropriately.
