BUYERS BEWARE....WISH I could give a negative review. Drove 300 miles to shop for the first time and it will definitely be the last. Purchased 5 items and all had to be shipped because they weren't in stock. 4 arrived (WAY passed time they promised), but 1 was NEVER RECEIVED. After many calls for months they finally admitted the product was not available any more. THIS WAS A MATCHING SET.... without 1 item the set would not work, yet they refused ANY returns because of return policy was only 7 days!!! delay was on their end...not mine??? Customer service gave promises of return calls and emails, yet NEVER happened

I came here looking for a new dresser for my bedroom. The sales associate, Rebecca, spent a lot of time with me finding the perfect fit for my room despite having very specific requirements. The furniture got delivered yesterday and it was amazing! Paid for the full service delivery which included staff building the furniture, delivering it, setting it up in your space and taking away all trash, which was amazing and so worth it! I wanted to specifically highlight Rebecca's customer service. I will definitely be coming back to Living Spaces specifically because of the amazing customer service!

My experience here was great! Jason was very friendly and a big help. He helped me with trying to look for a loft bunk bed/desk options that I might be interested in. However living spaces did not have much of a variety for me to choose from. Also Jason was very knowledgeable in the type of couch that I was interested in and helped me custom my couch into the layout that I needed. He also made sure that I was in good hands with Kelton as he was already ending his shift. Kelton was also very helpful in the purchase process. Highly recommend this store! Ask for Jason or Kelton they are awesome!

Alert Alert don't buy anything from these people there furniture is crap we had nothing but problems with chairs that clank and squeak and no re corse but store credit for 7 days ! I tried to get refund they don't these people are scammers and lie about warranties! I have received all defective stuff! Be smart and don't make the costly mistake for crap furniture and bad customer service! Will never buy anything and make sure I let everyone know they suck!

My husband and I were looking for a replacement for our sectional that we bought 2 years ago from another competitor. We looked at other furniture stores, and we finally made our way to Living Spaces in Millbrae. Right away, we were greeted by the store manager and told him what we were "browsing" for. He began to describe all the different areas and what we might find to our liking. So we started walking around the floor, and I kid you not, we were approached by an associate every 50 feet. Lol. We then met with Hellen Tellez, a supervisor. She asked what we were looking for and showed us everything in this massive 3 level store. Hellen listened and made suggestions, which was quite refreshing. After over an hour of looking, we found what we wanted, Hellen still by our side. We told Hellen that we had to go home and take measurements, just to make sure. I mean, it wasn't a cheap couch. We left with Hellen's phone number, and she kept in touch by letting us know when she would be at the store. We came back the next day, and Hellen met us. She began showing us all the different fabric and color options as this sectional was custom. Hellen spent another hour with us to make sure we would be happy with our purchase, she was amazing. You would think that commission would be the only reason she spent that much time with us, but it wasn't. They are not on commission, and this was just good old customer service at its finest!! Hellen told us that our sectional would arrive in about 6 weeks, and we would be sent emails to set to the delivery date. We received numerous emails advising us of the status and delivery. It was fantastic! They gave us an initial time-frame between 8-6pm, and the day prior, it was narrowed down to 10-1pm. This morning, we received emails and several text messages letting us know when the delivery drivers would arrive. They can't at 10:15am. The sectional was delivered securely wrapped and covered. They drivers set it up quickly and efficiently and disposed of the packaging. Needless to say, I/ we are EXTREMELY happy with our purchase. Thank you, Hellen, for the exceptional service and a great experience. I will definitely recommend Living Spaces to all my friends and clients and make sure they meet with Hellen!!

Their warranty on furniture is a total scam. I filed a claim after an accidental damage on the couch and living spaces or their associated company found every reason to reject my claim. Their drop down selections when filing a claim is meant to confuse the claimant and have them pick the wrong thing. Almost every selection one picks will reject the claim. They came up with excuses saying my contractors should file a claim when it wasn't even due to construction damage or anything. Originally, they used a different excuse for rejection of claim. I filed a report with BBB and living spaces is still not refunding what I paid for the so called warranty. This company is a fraud. I even contacted customer service and they are of no help. Claims to have nothing to do with the warranty company. What total BS. DO NOT purchase from a company scamming clients! Take your business elsewhere. They claim that you can cancel the plan but all the fees will eat out most of what you paid! Beware of this fraud!

I brought a sofa Oct. 2022 from Living Spaces, 3 months later it was sagging. I wanted a full refund, Orlando Garcia told me they send someone out to look as it. Sofa was cream, they mailed me a gray cover. That wasn't going to stop the sagging. Many emails later his words, we do not offer refunds after 7 days. Store credit I wasn't shopping at LS again. I still would have to pay the balance . I called the bank and 7 on your side. I was refunded the full amount. My credit score stayed the same, Thanks to 7 on your side.

The in store service was great and I really enjoyed the helpful of the staff. I was able to buy a mattress & adjustable base and get it delivered the same day! Unfortunately the next day the adjustable base broke and almost called an electrical fire... I couldn't get in touch with the store because they don't publish the phone number and when getting in touch with the 3rd party warranty people they say it will be a month before they can get to me. This place is the definition of a scam.

To take my emotions out, here are the facts. I purchased a Revive mattress by Living Spaces. The mattress came with 10 year warranty. However, I could not get a printed or a digital copy of warranty terms and conditions. The mattress broke. The warranty claim got approved. When I got to the store they informed me that they no longer sell the same model as the broken mattress. The current equivalent model of the Revive mattress was more expansive. It was my understanding that the issuer of the manufacturer warranty would repair or replace my broken item with an equivalent one per their discretion. Ken, the manager on duty insisted that warranty was for the price I paid; and if I wanted to exchange a broken mattress for an equivalent mattress under the manufacturer warranty, I had to pay the price difference. Bottom line: I did not get a free warranty exchange.

Had an extremely unhelpful sales rep named claudia, whom didn't at all help us resolve our issue of not receiving a power adapter for our reclining sofa to plug it into our wall, something that should've been included. The worst part of this matter is that we had purchased the same sofa 2 years prior and received said power adapter. The sales rep was also no help at all in helping us find where to purchase the adapter.

Spoke to customer service on 12/1 to order a bookcase for delivery today, 12/15/23. Called this morning because I had not received a call, email or text giving me the delivery timeframe. I was told they would call me to set up a timeframe and that the bookcase would be delivered to them on 12/19!!! Seriously!!!! WHY do you even set up a delivery date when you can't even deliver???? Living spaces you need to get your S___ together!!! This is the first and LAST time I will ever step into your store!!! FYI.... They don't even deserve a one star but I am forced to give a one star in order to complete this review!

Strongly advise against ordering from Living Spaces, particularly the Millbrae location. The management and sales team exhibit a concerning lack of transparency and honesty. We were assured by the sales staff that a 100% refund was guaranteed if our custom-order couch didn't fit. However, upon attempting to return it, we discovered a 25% restocking fee, in addition to the delivery cost, resulting in less than a 75% refund. Despite explicit inquiries about potential return fees before purchase, we were repeatedly assured that only the delivery cost needed to be covered. The couch, recommended by the staff for our apartment size and building hallways, turned out to be an incorrect choice. The service at the Millbrae store appeared intentionally misleading and dishonest. Even when escalating the issue to upper management, the indifference and lack of concern further exemplified Living Spaces' disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for furniture shopping.

BEWARE!! I WOULD NOT recommend any future purchases through this company! I would have put "NO stars" if could. Their customer team just reads scripts that i can read on my own in my account. I bought a couch Nov 2nd for Nearly $6,000 with full service and they stated delivered by Nov 18th, then moved the date after speaking with by 2 week . Now it pass the promised date and they cant even get ETA. Living spaces = It appears that this company has gone downhill and dug a hole further than the ground level. There are major issues of deceptive business practices with there products and services. They give you "Canned" responses, move the delivery dates, no updates are provided, unless you call or chat with them. They will take you money on day one before any confirmation on product inventory and tell you later it's on back order when you original receipt does not state "backordered" The more reviews I read, the worst it gets and I should have purchase through another vendor!! Worst experience ever! AGAIN BEWARE!! I WOULD NOT recommend any future purchases through this company

Upon entering I was instantly greeted by RENEE, This was the most comfortable customer service I've experienced in a while. Never felt pressured or obligated and she elaborated on alot of detail within every object and highlighted their best features. I valued my time spent here and felt welcome. Aside from me being picky the options felt endless and she helped me find exactly what I was looking for and wasn't bothered that it took some time. I would definitely come back, the floor supervisors were helpful but this employee went above and beyond for her customer and thats what we like to see.
