Pape Meat Co. is a great old school butcher shop and a gold medal butcher. The shop has a great selection of the best meats, fish, and poultry, including quality beef, pork, poultry, and fish. They offer items that are seasoned, breaded, or marinated, making cooking easy. This includes a seasoned rack of lamb and lamb legs boned, rolled, and marinated as good as any. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, providing advice on cooking. The butchers know their stuff. The quality is outstanding, with meat described as fresh, firm, and thick. While you pay more, the quality is worth it, leading to memorable meals. There is an obvious reason why they have been in business for so long.
