Race just installed the service for me 2 days ago (Dec 13th) and they already sent me a bill (Dec 15th) for $129, in the account statement detail, it says that my cycle starts from Dec 1st. Charging for 2 weeks of a service that I did not receive? When I called and spoke to an agent, he told me that it was normal to charge in advance, I am canceling my service and I am going to get Starlink,

My neighborhood just had your company come and install underground utilities that involved digging up my lawn, digging up my decorative rock hardscaping and cutting the sidewalks in front of my two driveways.The final result after the install is hydraulic oil stained asphalt, sidewalks, gutters, and rocks. I am missing several rocks in my decorative yard. my lawn is dry and wilting, and there was still small holes where it was dug up. The sidewalk in front of both of my driveways has been cut open and refilled with asphalt instead of concrete.The utility company did repair a broken sprinkler but my neighbors still have broken sprinklers.I spend a lot of time and money keeping my yard manicured. I understand my lawn is destroyed and I will have to spend my time and money to restore it. I am beyond upset that my entire curb appeal has been damaged as a result of your company’s work. I was guaranteed my home would be restored to pre-construction conditions. The oil stained concrete, rocks, and asphalt cannot be easily cleaned. There obviously was a large oil leak into the storm drain from your workers. I am just so disappointed every time I come home. All of my neighbors and friends comment and ask why my house was destroyed so much more than the rest of the neighborhood. I need immediate results. How can you help? Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this.

This is the WORST internet/phone service in existence. They’ve left my elderly parents without service for over a month now. In addition to this month, their service is out about 20-25% of the time (so the storm cannot be blamed).My parents live in Grass Valley and we’re snowed in with NO way to call for help. It is a liability having this company. Do NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

We have been without service for over a month because of storm damage. Race can’t tell us when it will be actually restored. Many stories but no commitments or actual servicefor our internet, TV, and telephones. We still have not seen a single Race truck in our area.The only thing we have been offered is a credit for the service they didn’t give us. Does Race even check their reviews?

I call Race 'Fàst 'n' Fragile'. We live in Grass Valley and last year's December knocked Race out for 1 full month. We've been without service for 25 days and the company has no idea when service will be restored. They blame PG&E for the issue, but that's a lie. Keep whatever internet service you currently have because Race is not reliable. They received a grant to install fiber in the area but just took the money and ran. Bad customer service, too few employees to fix problems, and complete dishonesty with billing.

Such a bummer that customer service is so poor and response times are so slow when internet service is interrupted. Last year my service was out for 35 days. I obviously didn't pay the bill for the month I had no service at all, and they tried to charge me late fees for that month after waiving the bill. Fast forward to now, my internet has been out a week. The issue has not even been assessed yet, and race isn't working on a solution. They blame other companies-PG&E, and even law enforcement, saying that they refuse to let them through to work on their equipment. I've talked to employees from PG&E and my local sheriff's office, both of whom said that's not the case and they're not stopping any service providers from repairing equipment. I pay $122 a month for service, and that's way too much to have outages like this. Unfortunately, I am now looking for a new provider-and will likely be going with starlink.

I had service through another company that was just capable of meeting my needs. In talking with Race I discovered that I needed a bit of tweaking to my service and they did it with no question, hesitation and quickness. I will certainly recommend them 1000 percent

race is communications is where it's at for all your needs! the internet is way faster than spectrum and more affordable, so if you haven't already done so its time to ditch the slow internet and over priced junk that spectrum offers. customer service was very helpful with letting you know how the install will be done, very knowledgeabl, and really take care of their customers. I would highly recommend Race.

A solid smaller internet service provider with good fiber speeds. Limited coverage area in San Francisco. But was able to get it at hunters point/ SF shipyard. Prices were cheaper then comcast and att and speeds were just as fast and reliable. Customer service is minimal but when you actually talk to a person they are great. Starting service is a little annoying cause you have to set up an install appointment but it went quickly. Easy billing with online pay set up. Overall satisfied with race for my internet:

Super slow at my cousins house he's been saying the internet has been shutting down at random times and customer service doesn't really help. They won't reimburse him for when it's been out and don't have any ETA of when it will be fixed.

I set up service with Race, they showed up on time and got the house set up. internet service and speed was better than the big named company. I unfortunately had to leave the property, closing my account was simple and the representative was very helpful and professional. I will use Race Communications again.
