Wow the food is great. Such a surprise find. This restaurant is very close to another Sichuan restaurant and it's right next to a bbq restaurant so make sure you are going to the correct entrance.I recall coming to this place when I meant to go to the Sichuan restaurant so I left last time and I think it was a mistake to try this restaurant only after so many years. This restaurant is amazing. I don't know whether this changed owners but wow the food tastes so good. It's probably my favorite Chinese spicy food restaurant in the Peninsula now.The food portions are small but the prices reflect that and it's nice to see prices didn't go crazy for once.Even the way the ingredients are chopped can tell that the ones in the kitchen paid attention because the pieces are cut properly as opposed to other Chinese restaurants such as Wonderful (they should train the kitchen helper who to chop stuff there).Everything we ordered tastes great. I liked the frog dry pot. I also liked the spicy fish. The pork liver also is tender and flavorful. I really can't find any fault in terms of food here other than maybe presentation but who cares when they taste good. Even white rice tastes good and goes well with spicy food. The service is good and quick. The place is small but has decent number of tables. I don't recommend huge parties due to the space but I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Dragon Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is a visual masterpiece, not to mention utterly delicious with its unique presentation and mild flavor. It is of great significance to enjoy it at the year of the dragon!!And if you're into authentic spice, their Kong Pao Chicken hits the mark perfectly. With a perfect blend of heat and flavor, it's a must-try. However, it shouldn't have onions... Tasty Place is where creativity meets tradition, making every dish a delightful experience. For cool dishes, try their mixed of salad and fried fish is said to be among the best!

Best chinese restaurant around. Very underrated. Try the pork and napa cabbage, dip it in chili and soy sauce, the best.

Best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in San Francisco area. Affordable, great service, nice environment, and most importantly the food was delicious. Me and my family had a great time here! Would recommend if you like spicy Szechuan

Decided to come try out this spot since it’s seems to have so many good reviews but once arriving this was one of the most disgusting places I have ever eaten at. The Food we order was just terrible! The Green beans dipped in a pool of garlic, the noodles were not cooked well & chicken tasted completely frozen. Was very disappointed that I had pay near $50 for this terrible food. And to add insult the service here was also terrible! Waiter did not bring us any refills not once thru out the entire time but when I didn’t leave a tip SHE came running & chasing after us quickly to leave a Tip when in Fact everything in this place is terrible. After I told them of my disappointment & dissatisfaction SHE started Yelling & swearing in Chinese!! I would avoid this place at all cost for anyone reading this!!EDIT** responding to comment by owner**oh wow you guys have a recording (: okay cool than maybe watch & teach the person working there that tips are earned upon great service. Not chasing customers upon request or terrible service. Or Horrible FOOD. She yelled at me so maybe check that again (: & What surprises me is that you responded to this so I must be telling the truth. while not responding to other negative reviews on your page. You have a great day aswell. My review still stands AVOID this place.

I’ve always passed by this place when driving on El Camino and finally decided to give it a try. My wife was craving some Chinese food and saw that they had good reviews. I found parking right in front and we were the first customers of the day right when they opened. The decor is nice - family friendly. The service was very attentive, the woman working gave us time to order and provided some suggestions on what was popular. I decided on the house special noodle soup - the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was flavorful. Also the Mongolian beef had the right amount of spice and tender meat. I’m surprised I haven’t came here before but will definitely come back again. Thank you.

This place is by far one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Peninsula area. This location is low key but well known. My wife and I had a great experience during our lunch session yesterday. We loved the Mongolian Beef!! The meat is cooked tender and literally breaks apart with the first chew. The onions are sweet and there's just enough red chili peppers; it wasn't overwhelming with heat. My wife is a huge fan of this dish. I loved the House Noodle Soup; this basically tasted like a deconstructed dumpling but in a noodle soup form. The ginger and onion with chive flavor just kept coming. The broth is delicious and has a slight nice chili oily taste. The noodles were soft and almost had the consistency of Soba noodles. We enjoyed their shrimp & chive & pork pan fried dumplings. These were cooked perfectly and paired great with the chili oil and vinegar. This was hand made and tasted authentic. The food here is amazing. We want to come back again and try more of their dishes. We will be back again for more!My Video Review: IG: @theprominentpalate

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area! Their noodle soups, dumplings, and wontons are packed with tons of flavor. The noodle soup portions are very generous for the price, I always have leftovers to take home. I also like that the noodles are thick and slightly chewy, so they don't get soggy the next day. My favorite noodles are the dan dan noodles and braised beef noodles. My friend said that the noodles with the pickled mustard greens was also delicious, with a strong ginger broth. I have only had a few of their meat dishes. The general tso's chicken was also very tasty but you get more for your money if you order noodle soup. Lastly, I appreciate that the prompt, friendly service as well as the nice presentations for the plates, which was a pleasant surprise.

I was visiting my friend in San Francisco. She heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to try. As we walked into the restaurant, it was not so busy. We got a menu but the ladies who were working didn't really speak English. We wanted to ask more questions but gave up. We ordered dan dan noodles, wanton, and crispy tofu. Dishes were a bit salty but overall flavor was good. The restaurant seemed busy as the restaurant got full while we were eating. The place is not so big and has no fancy decor. But you can get tasty Chinese dishes.
