Not recommended at all.
Something is wrong with my taxes so I keep calling to make another appointment and 3 people have “ booked” me there but I keep receiving confirmation emails with diferente time and different location.
This is not acceptable.
They have changed 3 times my appointments since 04/18 and, of course, I called last night and haven’t received my confirmation email yet.
3 people to make one appointment and nobody can get me really at the right location?
It’s 2025, you can do better !

I want to share my nightmare with the rest of the public and I am still in shock since this occurred last night. I have been with H&R Block for a very long time and I didn't have any problems until last year. I always purchase peace of mind through H&R Block and I always go to the same location and see the same tax professional. I received a letter from the IRS stating that I owe money for 2022 and that I didn't report on my 1099. I emailed my tax prepare and I called her I never heard from her until January 24, 2025, via email indicating that a manager shall contact me and as of today I have not heard from any manager. I made an appointment to go and see a professional tax preparer. When I got to the facility, I was escorted by the two H&R Block employees (one was a blond Caucasian woman receptionist sitting at the front of the office). She told me that I didn't have an appointment, and when I told her that I did, that I spoke with him the night before, and that I was confirmed, she indicated that she didn't have me on her appointment book. Right away another person (an Asian man) walked up to me and indicated to leave the premises I asked why and he told me that I was a fraud and asked me if I had spoken to Jessica Hunt and Brenda before coming to the office and they called him and told him to tell me to leave their premises right now and that I am a fraud. This is not acceptable by the way I was treated. I would have given H&R Block (zero 0 stars)but unfortunately, it starts with one-star review

I wish I could give them a zero star rating!
I left my honest review yesterday in details, but they managed to remove it. A tax preparer at Milpitas office, Milpitas California, stole my identity and ruined my life. I'll post videos of my story in details on all the social media platforms in the near future.

where do I even begin. Truly exceptional service and wide breadth of knowledge from my tax preparer: Alexander Ho. Highly recommend getting an appointment with him if you can, he is an expert and genuinely cares about optimizing your tax situation while explaining things in layman’s terms. In fact, during my appointment another employee had to get his advice multiple times. I could tell I was in good hands. Will certainly be returning for him next year.

This branch was not helpful at all. The person who did my taxes was rude, uninformative and overall unwelcoming. Megha pushed me to contact the irs after my taxes were rejecting, stating I needed a pin to confirm my identity. When I contacted the irs they informed me that they didn’t request me to verify my identity with a pin and told me my tax preparation person was wrong. Magha got her supervisor to contact me stating that they would not move forward with my taxes unless I provided them with a pin the irs did not ask me for. It took over a month for them to complete my taxes and still charged me over $400. I will not be using H&R Block again.

My 'journey' started at the Newark H&R Block. I made an appt with Rema for an Estate Tax Return. AFTER I got there, she said she was too busy to take care of my taxes and sent me on a 'wild goose chase': She referred me to Block Advisors in Milpitas and assured me that there would be plenty of experts to assist me. Block Advisors made a phone appt for me at 3pm, but no one called me back. When I called the number again at 3:45pm, they indicated that I had called the wrong office and game me the number to this North Milpitas office location. When I tried to call them, a bad connection, language barrier, and repetitive questions ended my potential business with this company.Very Disappointed! I would not recommend even attempting an Estate Tax Return with H&R Block.

EXTREME POOR SERVICEHello TeamI went in yesterday to fill my taxes with the H & R Block at the Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035. The person I filled my taxes with was J. Christine Hess. She made a mistake while filing my taxes. Instead of filling my taxes as a Non-resident she filled my taxes as a Resident. After filing the taxes I reached home and I realized that it was incorrect to file my taxes as a resident and I called in at the office to confirm the errors and the corrections that could be made now. I was the one who corrected the mistake by calling in again at the branch. I had to go in again to correct the filed taxes in the evening. The person who assisted me was Wilson Louie who made an amendment. But his behavior during the whole process was shocking and rude. Instead of apologizing and regretting, he was bitter about doing someone else's job.The next day I called in the manager Iesha Limon to complain about this unacceptable behavior of these employees. But the manager instead of apologizing said it was a human error and tried to put the blame on me.I paid for your services and invested my complete day throughout this process. If a customer is paying for a service. She expects decent behavior from the employees. I understand the error can be made by anyone. But instead of owning it and apologizing for the error they are misbehaving with the customer. This kind of unprofessional behavior by your employees is totally unacceptable.I would never recommend your services to anyone else.After facing disappointment. I hope you look into this matter and take the required action.
