New India Bazar is the busiest Indian grocery in the Milpitas area. It also is the most cramped, social distancing is a problem. Looking at items is a problem since someone is always trying to get by. Aisles can only be occupied by 1 cart or 1 person. Lots of variety. Over 50% of items have no price. Checkout times maybe long as many people buy a cartful. Parking lot is also an issue. In the morning, little parking exists. Tea India masala chai is the cheapest in town (80/5.99) Checkout is 3 registers close together. 3 seems to be common for Indian groceries . 3 stars for reasons stated.

All varieties of Indian grocery available here. Basmati, sona Madurai, rice, lentils, all purpose flour, vegetables, lots of Indian spices, frozen food and vegetables are available. Rice, bread and other Indian fast food such as samosas, puffs, kachori are present. Multiple checkout counters but checkout took a little time.Only downside is there is no return policy so advise to buy what’s needed.

New India Bazar is a fantastic store that impresses with its unbeatable prices and diverse selection. The affordability across a wide range of products, combined with the variety available, makes it a go-to destination for grocery and household needs. The store's commitment to offering quality products at competitive prices is evident, providing customers with ample choices without breaking the bank. The multicultural array of items reflects the diverse needs of the community it serves, making New India Bazar a top pick for those seeking both value and variety in their shopping experience.

I do shopping here when I don't have a choice but recently got a few golgappas (deep) which are obviously bad with no expiration date marked. There is bad smell and it tastes bitter too. I called the shop and they were willing to refund but I chose to put the review because this needs to be looked at seriously. All the 1 star reviews share similar concerns. Red flag for sure for the heath department and there is no accountability either. I had a similar experience few years ago with an expired batter. I caution the customers to check on this when you buy a product. Shop manager, Please have your workers inspect the expired products regularly and replace them. This is a serious problem.

Have been there a few times in the last 5 years. Great service, every staff member is good at the registers. Aisle help is not so good. Parking is a big headache. Tight space and things are hard to find. Five stars for all good employees and their service.

Always crowded. It has some indian groceries and poor quality vegetables most of the time compared to non-Indian stores . I bought rotten bananas and chilies unknowingly, they don’t restock vegetables very frequently. Otherwise good to go for common Indian items and spices for daily need. Check your items before you pick.

Definitely better than other Indian stores around. They don't restock vegetables unless you ask for it. But if you do, they do it right away

New India Bazar is good, I don't know why the reviews are so bad. They kind of became victims of their own success where too many Indians flocked to the shop with limited parking space. Their vegetables are good, dairy products are good. Spice section has lot of options. It's quite crowded. There is a temple nearby and when people come to the temple they come here too and it gets really crowded. But there is no problem with the quality of merchandise. One star removed for parking space issues. Actually looking at the New India Bazar reviews I realized that you shouldn't trust yelp reviews too much.

It is such a great place to shop for Indian households. The vegetables prices are so good here. Today I went there for the very first time it seems to be very crowded place there was lack of parking but i saw that there were two girls helping people with parking though it wasn’t there job but still sorting out these things that’s a great work. Well managed Store? I will keep coming here now.

The store is really nice though it is very crowded & always busy. The Cashiers at the store are so nice they always helps me out with the things I couldn’t find myself. The way they are selling rice bags with limit on it so that everybody can get it is appreciative. Also there rice prices are not high as compared to other stores which is Really good thing.

While they have good selection of items, Cashier always double charge 1 or more items from bill. You need to be so cautious with bills after every purchase. It is time consuming to get refunds after especially if you have to drive back to the store.

Its my go-to Indian grocery shopping place. The cashiers are really understanding and help the customers with all their needs. The food is always fresh and well taken care of. I had a great experience at this store.
