The Safeway Pharmacy does an excellent job with my prescriptions. The staff is medically knowledgeable and professional. With some pharmacies there is constantly a long wait line. I’ve never had this problem at Safeway. I highly recommend Safeway pharmacy to others.

This has been my favorite pharmacy in over 10 years! The staff have been very helpful in getting my parents’ prescriptions ready and the pharmacist Ngoc is very professional and knowledgeable.

My prescription refill was supposed to be due on Thanksgiving day so I asked the pharmacist if they can give it to me a day early and they told me no I have to wait until the next day so pretty much I have to go a day without no medicine just because they don’t wanna give it out a day early I think that’s pretty rude and my doctor was pretty That as well Be cautious of your refill dates because when it comes to holidays, they won’t let you have your medicine a day early

This is an excellent pharmacy. Very prompt, great service and hardly any wait times. I have been using it pretty exclusively.

Original (update at bottom):I've been getting multiple prescriptions filled here for a couple years now.Let me say that, yes, there have been a couple times on the phone where the person was unfriendly and short, even borderline rude. There was also one time in person, ironically, for getting the third Covid shot where the tech half-debated if I qualified for it (I do), but ultimately he let that go and gave me the shot. I thought about knocking off a star for those.BUT...There have also been a couple times where the tech went above and beyond. One time there was an issue with my insurance. She not only sorted that out, but she ran three separate prescriptions against both my insurance and Goodrx to see which combination would cost me the least. All this on a busy day while helping the other customers too and with a smile on her face.All things considered, I'd give the place 4.5 stars, and I rounded.Also, if you put in your phone number when you check out, Safeway will often times give you discount coupons. I have one right now for 10% off up to $200.I'm pretty happy I go here. It's close to home, they have later than typical pharmacy hours (see picture), and it's usually fast and easy.UpdatedI just put this in as 5 stars about a week ago, but my most recent visit has changed my opinion greatly.Doctor changed my prescription Tuesday. He sent the updated Rx electronically, but by Thursday they didn't fill it, so I called to ask them to. I have insurance, but Good Rx is significantly less expensive. Guy on the phone starts giving me a hassle about it. It's never been a problem before, but I cooperate. He confirms it worked and says it will be about $15. Great.Friday they call me to say the prescription won't be available until the next day because they're out of stock. No big deal.I get a text message that it's $85. I'm thinking the guy that gave me drama about Good Rx didn't put it in, but I can fix it while I'm there and worst case, I can still use my insurance.So it's Saturday now. I go in. The guy tells me it's $85. I tell him I'm using Good Rx and I show him. The price on Good Rx is $25 now not $15, but that's still a lot better than $85. He tells me it's $85 because Good Rx only covers certain manufacturers. Here's the thing, Good Rx gives different prices for different pharmacies. This price is specific to this location and accounts for things like the manufacturer.Ok so I say, "Ok I'll use my regular insurance". He says, "Your insurance requires prior approval." I ask him what that means. After-all, isn't that what the doctor sending in the prescription is? He says there's more to it and my doctor would have to do it. But it's Saturday so my doctor (as most non-emergency doctors) is closed.So the guy confirmed the price on the phone, then they make it 5x higher and all of the sudden they won't take either Good Rx nor my insurance?!? It just doesn't make sense.And what if I was a poor person with a life or death med? So now it's once great service and twice they've inexplicably made it a ridiculous hassle, the other times normal. I definitely see now why they had the bad rating, and I've updated mine.

Prescription should be ready this morning, came to pick up at 1:30PM, told they are working on it and it should be done in 20 minutes. I came back at 2PM and was told to wait it's almost ready. Another 15 minutes waiting on the side as I'm writing this review. The staff has poor time management with no line, not sure what they are working on. If you do come it's hard to know where to stand.

This is one of the nice Safeway that is well stocked and clean. It's spacious too so they have a good variety. Their produce is fresh and options are endless. Their bakery has good options too. They have a nice Starbucks inside with good seating inside. One can get their caffeine fix before or after shopping. This Safeway is located with other business so parking is shared but the lot is spacious so it's easy to find a spot.

Terrible. Ordered a cake for our nephew's birthday and we got a completely different cake. He specifically wanted Spider-Man, with the light up eyes. Needless to say, that's exactly what he did NOT get. And we still had to pay for it! We contacted Safeway via Twitter and were told that someone from this store will reach out to us. After a couple of follow ups and being told this issue has been escalated and that someone will call "tomorrow", nothing. Maybe buy your milk from here but when it comes to cakes, take your money elsewhere!

A rude black male trying to create a chaos and trigger the store manager to get mad. He is complains about the customer service, but appearing the new store manager did nothing wrong. I want to shout out to the new store manager Vu. He did the excellent job by not get into argument with the black dude. This is the other racial discrimination case.

I was at the deli today at 7:30pm. When do they close? There's no sign. The display cases were lit up, and 5 ladies were cleaning. I know all of them saw me standing there for 5 minutes. Not one of them said closed. So I grabbed other potato and macaroni salad. Grocery stores have never put the deli hours ever anywhere. Poor customer service, what a waste of my time.
