I love Sephora and I love the manager Abigail. What a great combo. I was having a bad day, a really bad day, so I stopped by Sephora to buy something to fix my face after tears had ruined my makeup. I was looking around for this and that. I basically bought everything from the Dior section, a couple items by Too Faced, then I was looking at the perfume. Yes, I needed a bottle of Miss Dior so I had to ask someone for help as they don't keep it on the shelf. Enter Abigail. She got someone to help me with the bottle of perfume and also answered so many questions I had. I really had swollen eyes, and needed a quick fix. Abigail to the rescue--AGAIN! She showed me several products, advised me on how to use them and then listened to what I wanted most--a quick fix, not a long term commitment to my puffy eyes--they were from crying, not always that way. Thank you Abigail. I finally had my little shopping basket full and was ready to check out. She told me how many points I had accrued, didn't make me stand in the line and wait to pay and was such a helpful and sincere person. For her, I will make sure I only shop at this Sephora for all my make up needs.

Don't be fooled by the mini Sephora inside Kohl's at Great Mall! I almost made that mistake--thank goodness someone told me to head to the main Sephora store at the other end of the mall. What a difference! When I walked in, I was relieved to see a full-sized store with a wide selection. My hope was instantly restored. The Kohl's location had very few products, barely any staff, and the help I did get wasn't exactly helpful. The main store was busy, but I was lucky enough to be helped by Donna--and she was amazing! She guided my friend and me through all the essentials, from primer to mascara. We both walked out with soft, flawless beats, bags full of product, and big smiles. I'll definitely be back--and Donna is my girl from now on!

I came to this store couple of days and really disappointed, the ladies in front of door didn't welcome or greet us, they saw me but look like didn't see. So no no thank you for this store.

Right after being greeted walking into the store, the manager questioned why we were even returning our items. It seemed like a silly joke at first so we answered that the items didn't work out for us (we don't owe anyone an explanation) and they proceeded to ask "why?" about three times after that initial question. After that, the manager asks, "Why returns? Why not exchanges? You guys are killing us with these returns." Obviously, the goal here was to make us feel awkward and uncomfortable by putting us on the spot but we literally do not AND should not care. There is absolutely nothing wrong with returning beauty products especially if you try something out and don't like it. Why shame your customers for trying to return? What's the point in doing that? Anyways, a couple days ago, my sister bought the Dior blush during the Sephora sale but got the wrong color which is why we went in again today so that she could exchange it for the correct one. When at the register, the person ringing her up said my sister owes $40. My sister then said that she was just trying to do a one-for-one exchange and was confused on why she would have to pay $40 when she could just easily exchange it. This employee then asked a coworker for help and this coworker said that because the new blush my sister is trying to buy is a different brand, my sister would have to just return and repurchase it but it was LITERALLY the same Dior blush just a different shade??? After they were all confused, they called over that same manager who greeted us at the front to come help at the register. As the manager walked over, they made ANOTHER comment: "Oh look here's the returner!" loudly enough for people around to hear it. The manager then looked over and saw that the customer next to my sister was also returning items and says "OH! Two returners!" I believe this manager's name is Ciele I may be spelling it wrong but that is what my sister heard -- I didn't see the spelling. I've worked in retail twice before so of course I understand the frustration in returns hurting the sales for the day, but I have never gotten upset at my customers for making a return, let alone EXPRESS that frustration to them. I would hate to lose their loyalty/business or to make them feel bad for changing their mind about an item. Interrogating your customers as soon as they walk in will drive them away and also make them feel unwelcome. This isn't the first time I've had an unpleasant experience here. In fact, it's one of many I've just decided to write this review now after so many impolite and unhelpful interactions with the people that work here. Plus, this location is always ransacked and disgusting. The employees are extremely rude and dismissive -- they are constantly rolling their eyes at their customers. Some of them won't even check the back stock when you ask for a product (shocker). Don't work in customer service if you don't like your customers or if you don't being nice to people. THATS YOUR JOB!!!

Honestly, did these girls even do their job? I had placed an online order while at work and I came in on my lunch thinking I can get The items that I purchased. But it turns out that they didn’t even look at the online orders and never confirmed my items. Again, do y’all even do your job? Honestly, what do you guys get paid for Other than to stand around and look pretty. Beauty and no brains really? I’m trying to get help and nobody helps They just stare at you, making sure that you’re not stealing anything bc If you look like a minority, will they’re obviously gonna stereotype you.

I had very bad experience. I wish Sephora team can provide a better training on customer service for the employees at the store. Nobody were there to ask what I was looking for. Most of the time I personally search for staff and ask the product which I’m looking for. Also, when I asked for my birthday gift, the staff denied without consulting their manager. Never going back to this store ever!

2 nd time visiting their store in great mall Milpitas and it’s horrible customer service. I went to ask yesterday for a pressed powder which I wasn’t able to find. The representative said I have to wait half an hour as she is busy with other customer. In the store I was with just another customer only. I waited to see representatives just chitchatting with each other and not helping anyone. I just left. Sephora my suggestion is if you want your customers back please change this practices.

10/10 recommend ITZI if you need your makeup done for literally any event. I don’t really wear makeup but wanted to be a little extra for a family wedding I was attending. I told her it would be outside, a little hot, and I wanted everything to last till the night at least and some sod products. And miss girl did just that! I got so many compliments and I was feelin myself! She was great to talk too and if I have any other events I am for sure going to her for her amazing art work! Love her! Thank you Itzi!
