**First Time Visit – Great Experience!**
It was my first time visiting Simple Hair, and I’m really glad I did! A friend recommended the place, so I decided to give it a try. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment just 30 minutes later—around 2 PM. Super fast and convenient!
Hana was my hairstylist, and she did a fantastic job. I got a shampoo, blow-dry, haircut, and hair styling—all for just \$50, which I think is incredibly affordable. I have curly hair, and I really liked how she straightened and styled it.
At the end, Tray added a little extra touch to the styling, which made the final look even better. I really appreciated the attention to detail from both stylists.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quick, easy, and budget-friendly salon experience. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I recently went for highlights and haircut. Haircut was good but for highlight they just bleached the hair and didn’t check on what color do I want, just went ahead and applied color that didn’t even cover the bleach properly. After talking the hair dresser she just won’t listen and she in return replied saying I am not going to talk to you on this. Very unprofessional and arrogant lady.
I had been there customer for 6 yrs still this level of treatment. I won’t go back to this saloon anymore.
After hair color my frnds are like where the hell is color in your hair , such a disappointment 😞😞

I rarely write reviews, but I get genuinely angry when I feel my trust has been compromised. I hate it when people take you for a fool. I’ve been a regular customer at Simple Hair, and at the beginning, I was extremely satisfied with the service they provided. I usually only did touch-ups for my roots, which cost me $60, or a full head coloring plus a haircut, which cost $120. I even added a $20 tip on top of that.
However, during my last few visits, I noticed that the quality of my hairstylist’s work has declined. I observed that Trang was attending to four or five clients at the same time. At first, I admired her multitasking skills, but later I felt a burning sensation on my scalp from the chemicals in my hair. She left the chemicals on for too long because she was busy with other clients. I hate being taken for a fool. When I complained, she said, “Oh, I left it longer so your hair color would be darker, as you requested!” I never asked for my scalp to be burned. Please don’t give me nonsense just to make more money by handling multiple clients simultaneously.
Another issue that upset me was being charged $170 for the same service she usually charges $120 for (hair coloring and haircut). I drove all the way from San Jose and put my trust in her, but I will no longer be a regular customer—she has lost one.

I will never return to this haircut. Many barbers are working there, but some of them do not know how to respect their customers.

Vy it’s a great hair dresser, I’ve been going to her for a couple of years now. Since I don’t spend much time on my hair, she gave me a simple yet stylish cut. I love it. It’s so simple to maintain, it takes me less than a minute to blow dry, and the hair stay in shape with volume. I get a lot of compliment all the time. Thank you, Vy. I highly recommend her.

First thing is dont forget to call them and take an appointment even on weekday! I walked in and there was wait time( I have waited 2 hours) but it was worth it! Holly does one hell of a job, just tell her what you want and she will do it according to your type of hair! And I would say its quite affordable.

I feel bad for this salon. It loses profit due to the guy answering the phone. I was so set on getting my hair cut here but not after this guys “customer service.” First I asked for Vy a few days ago and he cuts me off right away and says she’s on vacation, then I call today for Kim and cuts me off again and says she’s out and while I proceed to ask him, who IS working there, he talks over me and asks for “what day?” But in a very rude tone. Oh my gosh, I have never experienced that with a hair salon no matter what price they charge! GET THAT GUY OUT OF THERE! HE IS HURTING YOUR BUSINESS!

This is my go-to place for haircuts! They always do a fantastic job, and I’ve been consistently happy with the results. I also got my hair colored here, and the stylist suggested a beautiful shade without using bleach, which I really appreciated. The team is skilled, friendly, and truly cares about hair health. I’ve recommended this salon to many friends, and they’ve loved it too!

I decided to give Simple Hair in Milpitas another try despite a previous bad experience, but unfortunately, it was a mistake.
They assigned me to an older stylist who did a poor job—my haircut is uneven and looks unpolished. Very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail.
I won’t be returning, and would definitely recommend not to go there even if that’s your last option.

I'm a male with short hair. One thing to note about this location is that you have to be specific with what you want. What I mean by that is knowing the exact lengths and where. In my case I specify I want number 2 for my sides, for the razor, and exactly how short I want my top and fingers width longer at the front. My sister specifies the exact inches for her under and over layers. Once you figure out your specifics then this is an amazing and affordable hair cut location. I'm not too sure about perms and stylization but I see a lot of other customers who get them so it should be sufficient enough.
