I had to accompany someone with a mobility issue and they were almost knocked over by someone not looking where they were going. Fortunately he was able to avoid being hurt. I would say that we came during too busy a day but the purchase was a priority for this party member. As there were no price scanners we had to use "look up item" on the self checkout. When the price indicated was too high the checkout still required us to call someone over to cancel the item, effectively defeating the purpose of this function. Calling someone over required us to be noisy due to the low stamina of the party member and we had to tell them just to do what we requested, which I don't like doing since it is out of the scope of my social knowledge. It was good for what I came here for, so the rating is appropriate. Though I would rate it lower if something went wrong.

Walmart has the worst and most absurd return policy when it comes to car battery. I bought a battery at the Story rd. I bought the wrong size so they told me to go to Milpitas which is 20 minutes away to return it . I've been here almost an hour just for a manager to show up to do this process.

Wow this place is CRAZY!!!! I went to purchase a $10 belt. Had to wait for an attendant to unlock the glass case. She escorted me to the self checkout, waited with me and then handed it to an employee. The employee had to scan it for me and wait there until I paid. When I asked if it was necessary to be escorted and watched to purchase a $10 belt. She said it was protocol.

This Walmart is one of the most infuriating places I've ever been to. Half the store is locked in glass cases, and they are extremely understaffed. So, good luck getting anything you need from the shelves. Even if you can track someone down, they will probably lie to you about whether they can unlock the cases (they all have the app on their phones to do this by the way). They will even tell you there is someone that'll help, point off in one direction, and run away when you check. Plan to spend way longer than you want to when visiting this store. You'll be chasing associates around for what feels like an eternity, just to get something as insignificant as eye drops... Truly horrible experience. Avoid this place if at all possible.

This is by far the worst walmart I have ever been too. It is understaffed 2 registers open with lines of 10 or more people. No carts at the front you have to go out to the parking lot and grab them. It is obviously getting plenty of business, why do you only have a staff of like 6for a huge store??? But it's expected now this has been my experience in this year I've been in san jose area with many stores.

This Walmart in Milpitas is the worst! I had a basket full of items and needed Right Guard antiperspirant and it's locked up. Wow! I have to find someone to unlock the case because you press the button for an attendant but they never come! To top it off. Now they take the Right Guard in a plastic locked box. I say to the guy don't put it in the box and he basically says that I would steal it! Ridiculous policy! I put a review about this location about Barbersol shaving cream before about this same thing. Wow an item for $2 locked up. Now I have to find someone to open the locked box.

I asked a young woman for help with opening the cabinet for the batteries; she asked if I pressed the Help button. I told her there's no Help button nearby, and nothing. I asked an older gentleman for help, and he helped right away.

literally horrible. i would rate this negative stars, never go here. we waited for 45 minutes for someone to help us pick up some cosmetic stuff that was locked up. nobody even bothered to show up & help us. we had to go find someone & everyone kept referring us to one lady so we went to that so called lady and she states "i'm the only one with a key but uh i don't have it.." like what the hell walmart. no wonder you guys have such crappy reviews. get your crap together. hire some actual useful employees who know what they're doing. never coming here again to this useless place.

Quality/Quantity - Review based on the return my wife did today. Our Reno Walmart gave my daughter a hard time with a return, so since we were in the South Bay this week, we stopped by and had NO problems at all! Atmosphere - Consistent. Plenty of mall parking. Current departments - Pharmacy, auto care, vision center, wireless services, garden center, photo center, bakery, deli, grocery, liquor, etc. Service - 5 stars for GREAT customer service. Price - Inexpensive. Best prices, I never compare/check prices as they are the low cost leader. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, as the world's largest company by revenue (2022), $648+ billion sales (2024); 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California (2022). 1962 Walmart Discount City. 1969 Walmart Inc. 1970 Walmart Stores Inc.

Customer service here is a joke. They denied my job application for customer service, but when I call their customer service phone #, a lady who did not know English picked up the phone after ringing for 15 minutes. When I asked her if an item was in stock, she kept saying 'huh?' and 'I don't know what you're talking about'. I have 2 years of experience in retail and warehouse, and this woman had the audacity to say she did not have permission to do something she was hired to do. The item in question was compressed air in a can. Canned air. She couldn't fathom canned air existing.

This place is disgustingly dirty, shopping carts weren't available, and their bathrooms ranked of pee all the way outside into the aisles of the store to shop! Their bathroom floors were so sticky either of pee and God only knows what else on the floor, then there's that foul order of pee, poop and dirtiness in the air that was stench-fully gross I didn't even want to open my mouth! Is anyone going into those bathrooms and cleaning them up? They need to be professionally cleaned by a crime scene team, I will never go back to this Walmart ever again, I couldn't believe the filthiness in there and their bathrooms! Do not shop there, if there are bathrooms are that way, I'm sure their products and aisles are no better! Oh & let's not forget, we saw someone pushing the button to get an item out of the locked cabinets, nobody ever showed up!

I visited this location to purchase alcohol. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to unlock the case, but no one seemed to know who had the key. We checked back several times, but no one showed up. Overall, I'm disappointed that no one seemed to know anything. I definitely won't be coming back here to purchase alcohol here.

This is specifically for Walmart store pickup curbside. DONT DO IT. 10 cars and everyone was waiting for their stuff and some even left the cars (including us) to go inside. This corporation needs to stop being cheap and higher more people. Target would've been my go to, but they didn't have the car seat I needed before my trip. But if you can avoid it GO TO TARGET. They take less than 5 minutes to go out. As always Walmart is the bottom of the barrel corporation

Lack of staff on the return / check cashing area. Went from 2 person to 1 due to lack to training. Other person had to go support other department. May want to look into cross training where associates can support multiple areas. Also no sense of urgency seeing customers waiting for long periods of time. You guys should learn from Costco.
