Got put on hold immediately when I called. They didn't even let me reply that I would wait, they said "can you please hold?" *click* and pushed me to the fun music that everyone loves. I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come back and nothing. I called back and someone different answered, they told me to hold again and I got pushed back to the music.. another 10 minutes of waiting for nobody to reply. I hung up again and called a third time. They answered and right when they said "please hold" I had to cut them off and ask how long I'd have to wait this time since I had already waited over 20 minutes. They mumbled something under their breath and gave the phone to someone else. That person then asked what I needed, I simply asked if they were available for health screenings like it says on their website, they replied with "not really... no". Then they immediately hung up. Very unprofessional staff.

It is easy to criticize, but IMHO, it takes talent and effort to recommend a solution. Thus I suggest that Cal-Med clients and others who receive sub standard care at Alberson's pharmacy, give the Pavilions pharmacy in RSM a try. They are a "hidden jewel" that knows their inventory and provides great customer service.I used the Pavilion's pharmacy years until a small pharmacy in the same building as my doctor in Laguna Hills, solicited my business. Today I overheard pickleball players extoll the virtures of this phamacy, so I shall return to using them. Why is finding a good pharmacy and building a "first name" basis relationship to very hard? The "war on opioids" has caused so many legitimate and innocent people to be treated like criminals, simply because their doctor may proscribe a medication, such as a cough syrup, that may containe codeine, now known as a controlled narcotic. I've personally been refused medication because someone in the 30 million residents in California with my same name and birthdate Yes, if your name is Jane Doe, there will be 4 or more people in our state with a birthday match! These days the DEA reports this to your prescribing doctory and your pharmacy refuses to dispense when you are sick. Why doesn't the DEA simply look to see if folks with the same name and birthdate have their unique Social Security number? Ask them, not me! Instead I've been directed, while sicker than a dog, to investigate and resolve the matter myself. Okay, I've strayed from the rude Albertson's pharmacist and perhaps this is not the correct forum, but where is the correct forum? Too often, genuine senior citizens in their 7th or 8th decade of their lives, are treated as though they were street walkers, shooting heroin into their veins as a result of the "war on opiods." We did not abuse our meds, but on top of suddenly facing a diagnosis of cancer, dystonia, fibromyalia, or other diseases of intractable pain for the remainder of our lives, now encounter pharmacies refusal to fill valid prescriptions from our oncologists, neuroligists and pain management doctors! Talk about punishing the victims! (getting off my soapbox now...)

I called to check the status of my perscriptions because they should be ready and they are supposed to text me when they are ready, but I havent gotten a text. Called at 10am and they are supposed to be open but it just went to voicemail. I called again and again and just says no one is available and leave a message. So I tried calling again on my lunch and still cant reach anyone. Seems poorly run, understaffed, unprofessional. The whole reason I chose Albertson's SaveOn Pharmacy is because they are not nearly as busy as CVS or Walmart, so they should be able to answer a phone call. But they still are not. Very disappointed. I will have to drive over just to get an answer.

Florist is useless! I ordered a boutonnière a week in advance. When we arrived at the set time to pick it up, it had not been made. In fact, she said she didn't know how to make one! I had to walk her through a very painful tutorial! She said she didn't have a pin or a container for it either. She handed me a stick that you put a to/from card on. Floors need to be replaced and proper Customerservice training is much needed.

Albertsons need self check out. Really slow check out process. Just 2 cashiers. Took 15 mins to get 3 items. Store wasn't even busy. This is not a one off.

Bakery doesn't even run until 9am so you want fresh bread at 7am, you can't get it. Meat department is awful. Brown meat on multiple occasions. Mostly only USDA choice and very little PRIME meat. Poor organization. Sports beverages are on the other side of the store from ALL THE OTHER BEVERAGES. How do you have two FULL AISLES OF BEVERAGES AND PUT ANOTHER ONE LITERALLY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORE. This store is ALWAYS out of cherry coke and usually out of bottled Starbucks mochas? Why because they don't stand up to their vendors and tell them to stop stocking shelves with unwanted other flavors. I've complained to managers multiple times and nothing changes.

Pay attention to when they are ringing you up and what comes up in the register system vs how it is tagged on the shelf when you picked up the item. I've been overcharged many times but today was the day that put me over the edge. I was watching the pricing come up and there was a significant price discrepancy. Instead of apologizing, they immediately pulled out the flyer, made me wait for a "MGR" to come out while the cashier and I are trying to do the math at the register. Cashier called for assistance 3x before someone showed up to help. It was slowwwwww...not busy at all. Ridiculous. Store Director was defensive in her approach and just said it was human error. How about thanks for your business and we'll work on that not happening again? There's more to the story but I'm over it at this point. Posting this so that my neighbors can be aware.

Tracy was my cashier and she was one of the best customer service employees I've ever had. She did everything right and helped me find a new recipe online. She is the kindest cashier that I've ever encountered!

Albertson's, located on Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo, is a pretty good grocery store. They typically have the items they sell in stock. The review is only 3 stars for two reasons: (1) They have no express lanes or other means to quickly move through the checkout lanes. As a result, many times there are lines with a moderate (5 to 10 minute) wait, which is annoying when you only have an item or two; and (2) More importantly, if you buy an expensive liquor item, they treat you like a crook. First, I don't think I look or act like a crook. Other than Albertsons, I don't get treated like one. I wanted to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate an event. The champagne costs $80 a bottle, and was locked in a glass case. So, you have to go to the front of the store, and ask someone to unlock it for you. Fair enough. But the person who unlocked the case nearly had a fit when I wanted to TOUCH the bottle. That was the really bad part. Next, she takes it to the cashier to hold it, presumably so I won't steal it. I asked who would know where it was when I was ready to check out, and she said all of the cashiers would. When I get to the casher 3 minutes later, no one has any idea where it is, and they have to look around to find it. So my buying this somewhat expensive bottle of champagne turns from being a celebratory event to a complete hassle with the store having made me feel like a totally untrustworthy crook. Thanks a lot Albertson's, never again.

Always excellent customer service. Makes you feel like a valued customer, just like Ladera Ranch, and unlike the Lake Forest Albertsons. Mission Viejo and Ladera Ranch classy. Lake Forest tacky, somewhat poor customer service and unfriendly - doesn't make you feel like a valued customer.

Michelle at Starbucks is the friendliest, most hard working employee I have ever met. My vanilla frappacino with 2 pumps of caramel and 2 pumps of toffee nut syrup came out phenomenal! (It's a butterbeer copycat recipe). Not only was she efficient, but she made my drink properly and blended it thoroughly. I am really impressed by her. She's a doll!!
