Very pleased to have found this place. Cliff was amazing. He guided me through my entire 80 page 401k booklet. I walked away feeling very reassured. Cliff explained everything in detail and was patient to answer all my questions. He is honest and knowledgeable and explains things clearly so you know what your money is doing. Highly recommend. I will be using again in the future for my financial planning.

OMG! I put in my request for a consultation and received three replies within a few minutes, that was to be expected.... what I noticed next was my email inbox being spammed to high heaven with junk mail. as the Ramsey program was the only thing I'd shared my emailed with, and agreed to their terms of service, I deducted that they must in turn sell email retrieval lists to partners of theirs. now I'be been blocking inbound emails ever since my request. I will not follow through with the service because if this is what happens before they know my financial situation I can't image what they'd do after having that info. I'll be using another financial advisor service for sure.

Cliff was extremely helpful through the transition of my 401(k) to an IRA. I was a bit cautious about trying someone new to trust with my hard-earned $$, yet he has invested my funds well and delivered an impressive return. He's very knowledgeable and responds in a timely manner whether it's a phone call, email, text, and makes time to visit you at your home, if you prefer. I would recommend him for anyone looking for financial advice or investing for their future.

The Downie Financial Group is very professional and responsive. They are concerned about meeting the needs of each of their clients and never pressure you to conform to a predetermined plan. Cliff was a great help to my wife and I advising us on our retirement and overall investment strategy. We are Dave Ramsey FPU followers and he advises according to those principles. He is a teacher, not a salesman. He made the paperwork easy for us. He helped us setup 2 ROTH IRA and 3 529 Plans for our kids. The review below me seems like there is more to the story. Cliff is VERY helpful! My husband and I have been working with him for a few years now, after finding him through Dave Ramsey's Smart Vester Pro program. We don't have a huge retirement amount (yet), but it hasn't effected how helpful Cliff is. He has answered all questions we have had and steered us in a great direction. He is also great at following up with us when action needs to be taken. Highly recommend Cliff!

Met Cliff through the Dave Ramsey's Smartvestor Pros. Cliff was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt at ease while discussing my financial status with him. Cliff was good about explaining a few terms and the difference between them. Cliff answered all my questions directly and gave me advice on my financial plan for the future. Cliff's fees are pretty much in line with the Industry and felt that his fees were fair. Cliff explained a couple (fee structure) options for clients who are completely a hands-on investor, who just need advice sporadically or clients who take a passive approach and want someone else to do their investing for them. Either way, Cliff is your guy! If you need a financial advisor or someone to bounce ideas off, seek out Cliff Downie.
