Visited this location to have a hat custom embroidered. The gentleman who assisted me the first time was very informative. He let me know that my custom design would have to be send to their design dept and it was a three day turn around. Since I wanted the hat for the next day we agreed on making a rough draft, which came out very good for rough draft. A few days later the design has come back and I visited the store again. Another gentleman helped me this time, he was also very attentive and created a masterpiece. I was very happy with the service I got both times. I did happen to visit other locations before going to the MV location. At the two other stores the associates weren't very attentive and they didn't have the hat I needed in stock. I've been a customer of lids for a long time and will continue to be!

Garbage. Complete garbage. 11 year old son bought an Angels hat from here with embroidery and spent his hard earned money which cost him $80. Yes $80 for a hat. Since he is a die hard baseball and Angels fan, we wanted him to get this. In under 30 days the hat had blue bleeding on the white and red pin stripe hat. He wore it once in the rain as it has been raining significantly here in SOCAL. Rain should not cause blue bleeding like this and completely ruin the hat. My wife called and went to the store figuring they would at a minimum exchange the defective hat. No. They will do nothing. In fact, the lame worker went as far to say that these hats should not be worn in the rain. Huh? You can't wear a hat when it it raining? Needless to say, my son is shattered. These folks will never get a penny of my money and I will be emailing the manufacturer of the hat 59fifty to see if they will stand behind their product. Shame on you. This is an 11 year old and within 30 days. DEFECTIVE, just like this company.

This was my third terrible experience in this store, which means I won't be back. Just this past weekend, there were signs indicating a buy one, get one 50% off hats. In small letters at the bottom of the sign, it indicated that some exclusions apply so ask an associate for details. I asked the manager if the Angels hats that my three sons were trying on were on sale. He told me that they were. We then proceeded to find their sizes (a challenge since there wasn't a huge selection on the fitted hats) and finally chose four hats so that we could get the buy one, get one 50% off deal twice. I asked if that was allowed as well and again, he said yes. When we went to pay for the hats, the sale did not come up and they told me my total was $200 for the four hats. I asked about the sale, and the worker and manager said, "Oh, those don't apply to these hats. They have a patch on the side." We were incredibly frustrated to have spent more than a half hour trying on hats and finally finding sizes in the selections we wanted to discover that none we on sale. There was a lack of professionalism and understanding in the employees, especially ones who told us about the sale and then didn't honor it. We left the hats and found another business to support.

This is the best hat I ever owned. Coaching little league for 35 years and wearing all different kinds of hats this one is by far the nicest.

Place is a joke. I'm about to walk in at 4:00pm on a Sunday, and the only employee working was locking up the doors to leave for an hour break. This location is literally a joke

Went in this store bought a Lakers championship hat and asked the guy if he could add Kobe's numbers to the back 8 and 24. I told the guy 3 times how I wanted it and he still messed up and I got charged $18 extra. I let the employee know they messed up and they didn't refund my money. Don't trust this store!!

I just walked out of Lids fairly dissatisfied. After seeing a hat online for $39.99, but after tax and shipping it came to $50.00. I thought I would go to Lids see if they carried it. I walk in and get an instant hello from one of the 2 employees behind the counter but I'll never now which one because they never made eye contact with me. I find the exact hat that I saw online but it was on the vey top shelf I can see the tag under the bill of the cap and it's $2 less then online. I think to myself, I'm getting a new hat. Only problem is it's on the very top rack and I got one employee on the computer and one on his phone. I stand there, I even look at some of the other hats there. After about 5 minutes I realize why malls in America are dying and brick and mortar stores are going the way of the dodo bird. I am getting a new hat but I'll have to wait 24 hrs for Amazon to deliver it to me.

Best customer service I have ever received! Jesse the manager was great. I had reserved a hat the day before and wanted to get it embroidered where he happily obliged. He walked me through the process, helping me select a font and size and finished it up in only 10 minutes. Sadly, when I went to my car I realized there was a spelling error (which was my fault). I called the store explaining the situation and he said to come back in. I came back in and he took the time to remove the embroidery for me and redo it for me. While Irvine Spectrum has a larger selection, I will exclusively be shopping at this location due to the fantastic customer service I had.

Was very happy with the great customer service I received from Jesse , he helped me choose a nice hat in a matter of minutes I was out of that store. Usually I take forever but he helped make it easy will definitely come back when in need of a new hat
