Macys used to be a fun place to shop. Now it's awful. No customer service. I went to buy a high end purse only to stand in line for 30minutes. The purse I wanted to buy came without any fabric bag. No wrapping or box was offered for my purchase. My Michael Kors bag was put in a plastic cheap Macys bag. The cashier had a heavy accent and didn't care that I was upset. When I went to pay, the cashier said she didn't have any change. I ended up going to the Michael Kors store and received amazing service and was given a brand new bag with a dust bag and wrapped in a beautiful box. Get it together Macys! You are understaffed and the staff you do have barely speak English and do not care about customer service.

How can you be a multi million dollar company, and yet when I called just to ask if you have a particular type of cologne in stock, the phone is never answered and I was on hold not once, but twice for 10 minutes waiting for someone to just answer a simple question? Both times of which I just hung up and gave up because nobody came to the phone . You guys are quick to bitch about a loss of sales to the Internet and yet you can't staff your store to have somebody that at least picks up the phone? Your crappy sales are at least partially self-inflicted. Answer the phone, and don't make the directory be a mockery to a waiting customer.

The Mission Viejo store is an absolute mess. Central pay areas have all but disappeared. No clerks anywhere and merchandise is a MESS. Dressing rooms are dirty and unkempt. A once classy store has turned into a joke. I can't believe we can't get some decent shopping in South Orange County.

Macys used to be so magical and now it's a tacky mess. This particular Macy's hideous clothing. Where are all the cute clothes? It's really disappointing!! I think it's the location at the MV mall.

Apparently they are allowed to let customers come behind the counters. There's no register help anywhere. We were walking through macys on our way to build a bear for my daughters birthday when I found the singing mickey Mouse I'd been looking everywhere for. I had my kids with me and my friend took my daughter to the toy play area and I waited in line for 30 minutes while these two women were searching things up behind the register. My son was getting crazy (1yr old) by then and throwing himself around crying and the ladies gave me rude glaring looks like "contain your child" well maybe if they spent less time gossiping and helping that would be easier to do. what's more irritating is that I could t find the register to begin with and the bald guy giving someone else a talk told me to go to that register which was the customer service desk in the toy section. Won't go back. No one cares about the customers.

This Macy's is located in the Shops at Mission Viejo. My friend wanted to come here to buy something specific on sale. It turned out they had two buildings in the mall so she ended up having to go to both to find the item. The cashier said "Macy's card" to us and expected us to understand the implications of this phrase and how to respond. We did not comprehend this statement until they clarified that they were asking if we had one. It's no different than when a cashier in Japan asked me if I had a point card for the location in Japanese and expected me to understand their verbal inquiry instantly. It made us question if we were required to have one to buy stuff in the first place. The checkout process was extremely slow as there were no other staff members at the time. When we tried to get back down to the floor we could exit out of, the escalator was not moving and we had to walk down it. I kept worrying we would drop stuff off the side. The reception in the mall was terrible, so we weren't able to play Pokémon GO while shopping.

Oh Macy's how far you have dropped in product selection and customer service. Trying to find my husband some dress shirts - this place is A MESS! They've just given up. No organization whatsoever. I would expect this kind of disaster at a Marshall's or Ross but this is supposed to be a nice department store. And cutting way back on payroll is not doing you any favors. Maybe if the prices were a lot cheaper, I would have the patience to wade through the piles but life is short. Better to just buy online and you can see if they have the items you want easily.

I tried to make a return for a men's leather belt that was clearly not leather. It cracked after 4 months of wear but they said their policy is 3 months and it has to be in new condition. The manager would not stand behind the bad quality of this item. I told him I'm very disappointed and will not shop there again. He didn't seem to mind.

Unfortunately, this Macy's location has had a serious decline over the past decade. In 2017, it seemed this location began an exciting renovation. However, it is now 2022 and there is still parts of the bottom floor of the main building that are curtained and closed off for what I assume is the continual and mysterious renovation project? In addition, their bathrooms are a complete disgrace! They are in dire need of a deep clean up and renovation! There is still outdated bathroom fixtures and dangerous cracks in the tile and countertops. In addition, there is a pungent rancid scent or perhaps, a mold like odor that reeks through the bathroom hallway entrance and elevators. It discourages many who have shopped as Macy's customers for years to cancel our Macy's loyalty credit cards and rather, opt to shop with their competitors. The whole experience and decline of what was once a successful and pleasurable department store is surely a sad sight to see.

Nancy Ayad said our furniture would be delivered assembled . It came in many pieces 100's now it's taking up our living room. They cannot pick up the furniture in pieces for a week. I feel Macys should fully close . Their service has been awful . They didn't have a mgr for me to talk to when making the purchase . They didn't even have one today for me to talk to. Good luck finding a employee to help you. I plan to stop shopping there . It's always warm and muggy in the store . The toilets are old and warn out . It's all a reflection of their lack of professionalism. How else where . This is not a good place to shop at.

Ok store manager help me out - why do you have one woman working both cologne and accessories and shoes who has 10 customers and one guy who works finish line shoes but claims he can't help her even though he's sitting there with no customers? I mean can't someone cross train him how to go find shoes in the back since he already does that with athletic shoes? This poor lady has two lines running out the door in two different sections of the store and my man here chillin with his highlighter and phone.

Terrible service at this Macy's shoe section. You tell them what you want then ignore you when you try to find out if they have your size or not. Ridiculous!

I don't usually take the time to write Yelp reviews, but my experience with Reza was so positive that a review was well-deserved. Reza was so helpful and kind when I shopped at Macy's last week. I was looking for a new suit set, but was unable to find the right pant size in-store. The price of the suit set was cheaper online, and Reza graciously assisted with honoring that price, as well as helping me order the right size through the website. No haggling or arguing whatsoever that you almost get everywhere these days. Thank you Reza!

We stopped by to look for a few dresses for my wife. The store was clean, organized and the staff was quite friendly and professional. We ended up buying a few dresses and she also tried on shoes but they did not have her size in the style she requested. Great store and competitive pricing. Highly recommended
