I came to Magnolia inside Best Buy to exchange a new TV and surround sound that they sold me and Geek Squad installed a week prior. The new set up was not working properly so I went into the store. There’s a Magnolia employee named Diego that was really rude. He would only talk about the LG TVs, and when I asked what about the Vizio.....he told me that this is their first year working with OLED and they’re no good. Weird. Ok, he’s having a bad say I thought, I get them too. I picked out the new setup I wanted and proceeded to the register. Zero discussion until I asked why someone would purchase the upgraded cables/wires for their items, clearly interested in learning about the need for theses upgrades for possibly better sound...he looked at me weird and said, “people buy them to hook up their stuff”. I was shocked. He was really rude when he said it to the point where I told him so, and to ring me up so I can leave. Shocking that someone like him would be hired.

The Magnolia Design did an excellent job in our condo. It began with Diego at Best Buy. He came to our home to give us an evaluation. Diego explained everything thoroughly and suggested several options. The technicians, Alex and Phil, were extremely professional, competent and courteous. They did an outstanding job with both televisions in the family room and the master bedroom. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I recommend Magnolia without reservation.

Gary is amazing. He's always very patient when answering all of my questions. His knowledge on home audio seems endless. He's been helping me change my system around for years and I could not be happy with the entire experience. Be sure to ask for Gary, he's the best.

returned Marantz 5011 receiver under warranty due to power overload light come on, stopping unit. Returned to Best Buy near me, after 1 hour to d I had to go Magnolia design center store, one hour drive. Went to Magnolia design center, they shipped unit to repair facility. Repair facility stated not repairable. Unit returned to Magnolia center. Magnolias a center stated they sent unit to wrong derive center, would now send unit to Seattle. Unit returned, told fixed, plug in still original problem. Magnolia center says return to store they will send out for repair again, another one hour drive each way and approx. one month turn around, ugh! Why did i buy extra warranty, a complete waste of $$. Marantz provides 3 year warranty and Best Buy is not providing replacement unit, bucking problem to Magnolia who is located in limited stores and they are defaulting to !arantz standard warranty. Oh, try calling a store, long phone waits, drppoed calls. unhappy customer. Mark and Deborah Bragen

Horrible Buying Experience. This is the worst buying experience I have ever gone. It has been 2 months since I bought all of the equipment. They still have not installed all of the equipment. They have failed to show up at several appointments. Im on the phone with them right now holding as usual. They have hung up on me 3 times in a row. No one here cares about what they are doing. They installed the receiver and put it behind the tv so that you cannot even access it with the remote to turn up the volume. This has been incredibly frustrating and I would go somewhere else.

The Magnolia Design Center at Mission Viejo is very well run and where I ultimately spend my money, because they've earned it. The sign of a well run business isn't how it treats it's largest spending customers, but it's smallest. You can say it's cliche, but I guarantee it's old faithful in getting long term repeat customers. I've watched the manager work and direct staff, it is no wonder this store is so much better than the Design Center at Costa Mesa. It's nice and a pleasant surprise these days to see things done the right way. Good Management = well performing staff = happy customers == more profit, it's that simple
