I always bought empanadas they are delicious but I think the price is high $3.99 which is actually $4.00 it is too expensive for a pie I bought 5 pies and 1 soft drink it cost $27.55. I believe I will not return again, with this high value. Last week I paid $2.00 for each empanada at an Argentine restaurant in Los Angeles. I believe they should review the price of their

The food is good for fast food, and they have a rewards application, so i get something for buying their food. The price of the Empanada is $1 to high in price. Other than that, I would eat here

The empanadas are so good I ate 4 of your empanadas. The colors of your restaurant is exactly like the colors of my restaurant. The service was really fast. I highly recommend everyone come eat this

I decided to mobile order a Starbucks on my way to work when I remembered The Empanada Maker was right next door. I decided to pop in to give them a try since it's been years since I've last had them. When I walked in I saw two employees which looked to be the chefs. There was another behind the counter who ended up helping me. It was a simple and easy order/exchange which is always nice! I remember their cheese and spinach empanada was good so I ordered that one along with the seasonal veggie. Together they cost around $10 and some change which isn't bad considering how amazing they tasted. I really enjoyed the cheese and spinach one cause it had a ton of flavor and a flaky crust. The seasonal veggies one was alright and had a little less flavor than I was expecting. Overall I'm happy I stopped by and will be back to try out some of the other fillings!

Empanada maker is sooo good! Always good for catering and events. I usually get it for my guys on Friday's and they love it. Easy breakfast, haven't tried anything other than the breakfast empanadas but it is a great local spot and a happy customer!

The empanadas were good. I wouldn't say this is my favorite empanada place but it fills the itch. We had a large order and it was a lunch rush order on Friday so I can't really blame them, but they forgot the large sauce to our One Dozen Mix \\u0026 Match and the regular side order of the same kind of sauce (which we did have to pay an extra $0.49 for, not much but still money we spent for items we didn't receive). Not sure why this was the only part of the order they forgot, but needless to say the empanadas were kind of dry without it. I called to tell them and they said someone could come pick it up, but we're a company at work and don't have the time to go pick up sauce. Hence why we had our food delivered. They said they'd give a credit for the missing sauce, which is nice but didn't really solve the issue at hand. I probably won't be back anytime soon, and if I do I probably won't be doing take out or a very large order. On top of this I don't recommend the Deviled Egg Potato Salad, at least today's batch. It tasted like it was on the verge of spoiling. I couldn't finish it, each bite made me gag. However, I do recommend the Spinach Empanada, super creamy and delicious filling. Just a bit dry without the sauce. Overall I think we were pleased with the food, just disappointed they forgot the best part.

Specializes in empanadas you sure have high expectations that it will be amazing. This offers a great variety of both sweet and savory empanadas. Each empanada is about $3.80 each. It's a fair size and a dozen is about $40I got to try their original chicken and original beef. Between the two probably the beef is slightly better. Overall it was tasty but not the greatest in the area. Would still support them if you're a local

This place is horrible. I have known of this location for some time now, but very seldom find myself in the Mision Viejo area. On Friday, March 24, the stars aligned, and I found myself in the neighborhood to try this place out. What a complete disappointment. The two older gentlemen working appeared confused and completely overwhelmed....by the kicker is, there was only a handful of customers present. I watched as they screwed up order after order. They were completely incapable of any form of organizational service. Instead of focusing on completing one simple order at a time, I watched as they partially assembled one order, then jumped to another, then back to another....and never really accomplishing the initial task. When it came to my order, I purposely ordered empenadas that were already ready in the warmer thinking that would save time. Nope! Still waited 15-20 minutes for my order...again...the kicker...there was nobody ahead of me in line! I watched as a few customers walked in behind me and their orders taken. The two gentlemen walked back and forth and spun around behind the counter more times than I can count as they tried to figure out what to do.When they finally got to my order, they merely grabbed the pre-made empenadas from the warmer...which was my plan from the beginning. I watched as the gentleman opened and closed the box containing my empenadas at least 4-5 times looking confused each time. I thought, "What could he possibly be checking over and over?" Well, I finally got my order....decided to eat on the run in my car....no surprise here....they screwed up the order!!!!As a side note....and not a good one....bought some take and bake empenadas for my mom to make at home. FAIL. The package was mislabeled and weren't even the empenadas my mom asked for.So....if I have to say anything positive...its that the empenadas, although not what I ordered....we're tasty. Just tasty. They were not what I would consider "authentic" empenadas...more of a SoCal knock-off of a traditional Argentinian/Mexican dish. It is pretty pricy as well. So bottom line.....will not ever be coming back to this place.

After coming to this location for over 5 years I am extremely disappointed in the food and service and attitude by the staff. During the my last 3 visits I have had empanadas that were under cooked, when I called to tell staff my empanada was so undercooked I couldn't eat it the staff responded with "ok, I'll tell cook" then hung up in me before I could respond. I submitted a complaint through the app that was never answered. The next visit my fries were completely under cooked and soggy. Now they are charging for things they never charged for before with attitude. When I asked if there was an email or anything to contact the manager I was told no. This used to be a go to lunch spot for me and my coworkers but the horrible service and undercooked food has turned us off to this spot that used to be excellent.

Overpriced, bland, and toxic management decisions. I ordered the chicken empanada and fries as a light meal, and it ran me about $9. (DIPPING SAUCE COSTS 50c??) Absolutely not worth the money. I'd understand the price for super fresh, and flavorful, but it was surprisingly bland and lukewarm. Finally, never saw management, but I can tell it sucks to work here. Multiple signs behind the desk, and in the kitchen in giant font reminding workers to not have their phones on behind the desk without being written up. Signs for customers reminding them not to throw away baskets, scattered haphazardly in the restaurant, and every table outside is plastered with a sign saying it's ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS. No wonder staff seem dejected, nobody can blame them. Will not be returning, y'all are resting on laurels.

Pleasant service. Easy parking and handicap access on a rainy day. Mother in law - 96 - loved the chicken tortilla soup, French fries (lightly spiced - sweet paprika?) and spinach empanada. Loved the sauces - chipotle, avocado/cilantro, chimichurri. Also had side salad and Diablo, Philly Cheesesteak, and 2 chicken empanadas. Nice music in dining area. Took home 1.5 of 6 empanadas plus 2.5 sauces.

Ham and cheese and the spinach and cheese are great They used to have a pot roast flavor that I wish they still had but the beef is an okay substitute. The avocado sauce definitely adds to the flavors. My husband enjoys the berry cheesecake empanada for dessert.Unfortunately last time we ordered, there was missing an empanada. Be sure to check your bag before you leave if ordered to go. We called the store to alert them of the mistake and although they could not offer a refund, the manager gave us an alternative option that would be suitable if we came more often to redeem the missing item. Kind of a wash for our friend that ordered the food for us.

Employees are nice \u0026 knowledgeable. They were quick to greet everyone and very personable! Empanadas are okay, nothing spectacular. Unfortunately didn't see much value - 3 regular empanadas, fries and a drink for $18 ... I walked out feeling meh.
