I am quoting a review from Michael below. We had pretty much the exact experience with Nadia. It was all about her, her commission and her her her. She was rude, couldn't listen to the customer and very unprofessional. We had to ask for someone else to check us out and call another store. Nadia was unaware WHBM had a store in Torrance. And WE had to find the phone number for her. That's when we had enough of her. Strange 10 months later she is still employed. Quote from Michael " As normal, she tried on a number of clothing items, when she came into contact with a clerk by the name of Nadia. Within minutes of coming into contact with this woman, it was clear that her only intent was to force as much merchandise on her as she possibly could.Nadia was rude, inconsiderate, and simply one of the worst employees of WHBM we have ever encountered. We will not go back to location again, as the shopping experience was absolutely terrible. this associate should be fired."I called customer service. No one is going to be that rude to my wife. A district manager or regional manager is supposed to get back to us. Let's see if this happens Go to the Corona Del Mar location or the Tustin one. Both excellent examples of great customer service. Start with Corona.

Not a fan of the staff.. seems pretty snobbish for a chain store. Clothes are nice, but easier to buy online and pick up.

The fashion is amazing. The clothing is made well. I know the prices may seem high but I have clothing that still looks brand new from years ago. My favorite place to shop.

I absolutely love their clothing. They provide items that fit nicely for the average figure, not just for tiny petites. I've never gotten a bad item yet. They are a bit pricey, but the quality makes up for it. I just bought a beautiful dress for a special event and can't wait to wear it. Rajita, the sales attendant at Mission Viejo Mall is helpful, honest and very hospitable.

Love the staff here so much. They are so helpful, stylish, knowledgeable, and kind. They really make you feel so welcomed at the store. Penny is my favorite associate and her manager is very nice as well. Penny always takes the time to listen to what my style needs are and put together multiple outfit styles. Penny has beautiful style and taste with great recommendations for accessories! The clothes are nice quality and last!

One of the worst shopping experiences ever. my wife and I are long time shoppers at WHBM, although we normally shop at a different branch in Newport. Today we were in the Mission Viejo mall and stopped in so my wife could buy a belt. As normal, she tried on a number of clothing items, when she came into contact with a clerk by the name of Nadia. Within minutes of coming into contact with this woman, it was clear that her only intent was to force as much merchandise on her as she possibly could. Nadia wa rude, inconsiderate, and simply one of the worst employees of WHBM we have ever encountered. We will not go back to location again, as the shopping experience was absolutely terrible. this associate should be fired.

Went to the mall; what a treat now fully vaccinated. WHBM has always been polished, the windows giving you their newest pop of color and new favorites out of the current collection. For me, how they upkeep their "first impression" speaks volumes as to what you'll find inside the store. Yes, I used to manage in retail. The window astounded me. Sure, whatever had been on the mannequin might have been the only size in the store and of course they'd sell it. But to see it hours later the same way? It was going to be my last stop, since I knew I'd have more to carry. After seeing the window in such disarray, I skipped it instead. Sure hope this hasn't become the norm for the brand.

My favorite clothing store. I took advantage of cyber Monday and bought clothing at steep discounts without trying anything on. It was not a mistake because all I had to do was exchange those items that I didn't like at the local brick and mortar store. The staff was extremely helpful. The offered solutions to some items that just need a little something extra. They exchanged my merchandise without question. Excellent experience all around.

I returned 2 items to this location and they botched the return. I now have to contact Corporate customer service to get this straightened out. I was supposed to get a refund receipt from customer service within 24 to 48 hours. That time period has now passed and I've received nothing. I'll have to follow up. This is extremely poor customer service. I am a long-time customer but will no longer shop at the store.

Customer service at this location is lacking! There was only one female empoloyee (brown/black shoulder length hair) that acknowledged me the entire time. The other FOUR employees couldn't even be bothered to smile. They are either rude or miserable, not sure. Had to get my own sizes in the dressing room and was given attitude when I wanted to check gift card balances at the register. Try the jamboree location for a much nicer experience.

If you are going to shop in the store instead of online, you would hope for a positive customer service experience.. right? If that's true for you don't go to this location. I was at this location recently to pick up an online order from this location, and I figured why not look around while I'm there right? As I was looking around I saw shoes I liked that happened to be displayed in the petite section. I was in that section for less than a minute when a woman working there, named Fae, said from the other side of the store, "You are in the petite section miss you can look here (gesturing to the other sections of there store) for clothes that might fit you". Fae said this loud enough for not only the other lady working to hear and not intervene, but also for the other people in the store to hear. I'm 5'9 with an athletic build, but with my body type I fit in a petite large in some styles and I have purchased from your petite section before. This however is not the point. What if I was shopping for another person? The fact that Fae felt like she could say that while looking me up and down and gesturing me to leave that section/ look elsewhere was unreal. I did not want to write a Yelp review, but after reaching out to the company directly to make them aware of my experience (who then told me that I would be contacted by management) I have not heard from anyone. The assistant manager of the location named Veronica viewed my LinkedIn page, but made no effort to contact me. Customer service is making people feel welcome so they return and I do not feel welcome here. *If you want to avoid feeling shamed out of a section I recommend any other location.*
