Ever since Bank of the west has switched to BMO. It has the worst customer service. ever it has the worst mobile service ever it has the worst banking service ever. I've had nothing but problems with my account. I go into the branch I get the runaround I called Customer Service I get the runaround. I was told I would get a call back from Customer Service. It's been two weeks. I never got a call back. Do I recommend BMO, no avoid this bank branch. Avoid the customer service I recommend you go banking somewhere else seriously am I just giving a bad review because I'm upset no I've had. Bank of the west since I was I was 14 yrs old never had a problem until they merged with BMO. Honestly I was very happy and content with B of W I had no problems at all but as soon as they merged with BMO it is horrible awful disgusting piece of crap garbage sewer need I say more you get my picture.!! So what is my rating on this bank a big ZERO!! I'm in the process of looking for another Bank that will satisfied my needs and my family needs BMO Harris has the worst customer service ever !!

Understaffed and unrealistic expectations for customers.Sitting in a lobby with an elderly disabled client for over an hour and 45 and still haven’t been seen.

Predatory banking at its finest. Tried to open an account. Was told my funds wouldn't be available for 9 days. I assumed they meant up to 9 days until the check I was using to open the account cleared. I asked to check and make certain. No. Even after the check clears, I could not access my money for 9 days.$10 fee to cash a check written on their bank if you don't have an account. $10! To hand you money on an account at their bank! This should be criminal.Tellers were apathetic. Horrible bank.

Never use the drive-through. They only can worry about the people are there in inside the building. You're better off going inside I sat for almost 20 minutes waiting for somebody to come to that went out to take care of me. That's poor customer service they should be having somebody work in that window, and then they have to go in and wait until the next available rep can do your deposits or get you your money, very unsatisfied with their customer service

This location is good because they helped me with my needs and issued me some reversals, I just hate how the bank of the west is now, I know they changed from once I started with them. The people at this location did help me better then the one in my hometown so I give props to them for actually understanding customers needs and wants. Would recommend this location since they actually do help and find solutions for their customers. The fees at this bank is just ridiculous to the point that I had to close my account

So i open an acct and everything was fine. I open a payee acct at the Pelandale branch and they send me a debit card to go with the acct. I receive the card and i go into the McHenry branch to use it and the teller tells me "I'm not allowed to have a debit card with a payee acct". I say but the manager at the other branch who opened the acct said you CAN have a debit card. She then asked for her manager and she said no you can't have debit card. She deactivated my card!! So ended up getting another one. I go in and take a government payee check and say i want to cash it and they tell i HAVE to deposit it. But i went to Pelandale branch and they cashed it for me. I'm not sure why this branch makes up new rules for their branch.

Horrible customer service experience, I have never been treated more rudely than the way Julie Mayfield, the manager of the Modesto branch on McHenry Ave in Modesto treated me. I attempted to cash one of their clients checks. I was told that they had to call to verify the check. After waiting 20 minutes on hold, the branch manager told me I would have to wait in the lobby or leave. I called the phone number on the front of the check in front of her and got verification from the business that issued the check immediately. I'm guessing the branch employees have to call the same customer service number that regular customers do and wait on hold like anyone else. As far as I'm concerned, Bank of the West couldn't care less about serving customers. They obviously don't employ enough people to answer the phone to assist their branch employees much less regular customers.

would like to share some things that bank of the west had done. very bad customer service and having 6 people behind the counter walking around and only 2 at the counter helping costumers. scamming people telling them that there loans are going to be approved and after you pay the fees. they never call you back or even tell you that the person handling your loan no longer works for Bank of the West.

It's always a breeze using this bank for my needs. I actually prefer to drive the 15miles out of my hometown to use this bank rather than the one down the street from my house due to the amazing service I've received for the past 2+ years. Thank you for being so warm and helpful always, it's greatly appreciated
