I came in two days ago and getting laptop fixed. A big disappointment the Greek team was no help - he rushed me out as if he was eati g Ori was disturbing him - he took my number and I had to ask him was he giving me a appointment? He replied oh I didn't know I wanted it I left with my husband. We went to computer guys and they fixed it in the same day. I shop around for a new laptop. I walked back in two day later I knew exactly what wanted no help needed. In and out..

I went to this store few times to buy a home theater system including speakers… Worst part is, you will no one their in the magnolia area to support..The theater room is open with displays, systems aswell… However no one to answer the capabilities, how to buy and all questions…Last time asked a sales person sneaking around in the area, i asked him i need some info, the response was the person knows stepped out and will be back.. Stayed their almost 30 mins and no one came…Advise to Best Buy Modesto- If you Magnolia items are not for sale, close it… Dont waste customers like my time advertising your systems and while their no one to help arpund… No managers around, and sales peoples run around in a way not to ask any questions to them… Simply wasting peoples time, please close it so we dont find from Google and waste our time..

This review is embarrassingly late at this point but I've been meaning to send a huuuuuuuge bundle of kudos to a gentleman who helped me pick out a camera around Black Friday (I believe his name is Jackson???) I came in with my parents to browse photography/videography cameras and Jackson walked me through the whole process of choosing the best camera/lens for what I wanted (it ended up being the Canon R8 and 50mm lens. I'm in love with it). He went above and beyond to answer the million questions we had, and he did it in such a way that we knew he genuinely cared about helping me find what was right for me. All his wisdom was spot on and I am so grateful to have met him. Flash forward to now, I was just booked to photograph my first wedding! Jackson if you're reading this, you rock and that 50mm lens is indeed the best! And if Jackson's manager is reading this, please give him a raise!!!

The service in the store is good. The phone support is so awful. I gave only one star because of the store. I have been on the phone with 6 agents in two days. All the information I have received was wrong. Additionally, communication is not clear. I've been on the phone tonight over two hours trying to sort out if I'm going to be able to pick up my order in Tracy. I know Best Buy doesn't care about one customer and I understand consumers don't have many options but it has been an excruciating experience. And after all the waiting, all the requests for a supervisor, I was hung up on twice, and I still never got to speak to a supervisor, but according to the last person that I spoke to this is going to be escalated to corporate so I can't imagine anybody is going to call me back! if you buy something from Best Buy, please beware if you were going to arrange for pick up.

Best Buy is a good place to find and buy electronic things but they also have fridge wash and dryer icemaker stove price share of portable .

I went on 12/12/23 around 1:30ish and was assisted by the manager whom was a Caucasian slightly bigger woman. I had gone with the hopes of getting a price match for earbuds that the Costco in Modesto had just ran out of (which I had the receipt for since they let me purchase it before realizing they were out), but Costco Manteca still had 15 in stock. In order to avoid the 30 minute drive, I figured I could get the price match at the Best Buy here in Modesto since Costco is a qualified competitor store. Well this manager refused to price match because “she was a Costco member and she couldn’t see the deal on her PERSONAL membership app.” I explained to her that this is an IN-STORE ONLY deal so I showed her a receipt that was dated that same day for that item and a picture of the item with the sale price at the store which had an expiration sale date of 12/31/23. I even offered to call the Costco in Manteca on speaker so she could hear the employees tell me the deal price and inventory count. For which she replied, “I don’t need to speak to anyone it’s not on the website and that means they don’t have anymore so we don’t do the price match for items that are not in stock.”I left the store and drove 30 minutes to get the earbuds that were “not available” per Best Buy’s manager.She needs to be educated that not everything is online and specifically for Costco which says on their website word for word, “If a product is only sold in the warehouse, its availability will not be displayed online.”So at that point the only proof I could do was my material proof which was a receipt, a picture, and a phone call to the store since she didn’t believe my picture and receipt were enough proof (which she still refused).Best Buy needs a better manager that is not closed minded and quick to jump to false conclusions even with the evidence laid out right in front of her. This is not the type of leadership that helps a team succeed. If she’s quick to jump to conclusions like this with customers, then she very well might be doing the same with her subordinates, putting them at a disadvantage.

I use to love Best Buy but that was until they screwed me out of 1000 dollars. If you do buy something make sure you don't put it on their credit card. Very sneaky business practice!

Wonderful customer service! We had an amazing camera guy help us out today when we were looking for a beginner camera! Connor was very patient and knowledgeable, answered all our questions and concerns with transparent answers instead of upselling! We will definitely be returning to this specific location in hopes to see him again with our future purchases!Thank you Connor!

Such great customer service!! We had an amazing camera guy help us out when we were looking for a beginner camera today. He was very patient and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions & concerns with true answer not just upselling recommendations. After making a purchase from the sales last night, I have had to be on the phone 3 times Less than 24 hours later to try to fix mistakes that they are making on my One order. Each time I've called to fix issues such as them telling me by text that one item is supposed to be delivered ( as I had set it up to be done when I made the purchase) but another small addition to the same order is supposed to be picked up at the store. Since I did NOT want to fight the traffic I did not want to drive 30 minutes to pick up a cord that was purchased to go along with a large appliance. After calling the first time and waiting over fifteen minutes I was able to explain to a person at the store that I didn't want to drive over for a potion of my order that I had been told were to both be delivered. The person I spoke with apologized and changed it so that both items would be delivered on the same day (the way it had already been set up to do) - so I thanked her and she apologized again for their error. I thanked her. But soon after that call was over I was notified by my financial institution that she apparently charged me again for the cord that was now supposed to be arriving the way I originally had set it up to be done. But I have already PAID for the cord. So I had to get Back on the phone and was given the option (supposedly faster) to "CHAT" with an agent. Thinking that might be less painful -I tried that route. The notification said and agent would be on shortly - over an hour and a half later someone came on line to chat but I had given up and got busy doing things and missed the chat person. So then I got on the phone again- 15 minutes later - it is NOT a person from the store who I spoke with before, it is now someone in a call center from another country - one that can not speak English very well and I could not understand what they said and they could not understand me either. So I gave up. Called AGAIN - and was transferred to a call center (AGAIN) but at least this time it was a person who I was able to communicate with. So - once again after being on hold for a Long time, I had to explain the whole thing again and this person apologized and said that the EXTRA CHARGE was being refunded - they apologized and told me that I was not the Only person who this had happened to and that others were both having orders split up and changed as well as the system charging additional when things were changed on an order - so that others were also being charged more than once. So after FOUR attempts to correct errors which were not MY mistake but Best Buy errors - it finally was corrected. But - if you buy anything from Best Buy - you need to check your orders carefully for double charges especially if THEY make any changes in your order or delivery set up. At a time when people are already busy and a lot of money is being passed over - I hope others are keeping a close eye one THEIR orders and the charges for those orders! Buyer beware (as the old saying goes). Also - other than apologizing for their repeated errors as well as the extensive Time required to correct those errors - no offers were made to compensate me for the necessity of correcting their mistakes and/or all the time it took to correct the mistake. While I am not a person who is greedy or tries to milk the system for money - it is evident by not even offering anything in apology for the inconvenience that they inflicted on paying customers - not even a $5 off coupon on your next purchase or ANYthing - that they really are Not truly sorry about what they are putting others through with the system which is not operating very well. It is not worth the hassles that I had to go through to get the dumb thing 10 or 20 dollars cheaper at Best Buy! If you can find the same item somewhere Else - even if it is just a bit More Expensive - - PAY the extra few dollars to get better service and fewer mistakes! And keep an eye on what they are DOing!

I have received really good customer service and they're always willing to help. I can't say that for other stores .I've bought major appliances from them and they have really good prices, they also match or beat other stores. Go check out their black Friday deals

I was picking up my orders from last night..I just wished that the Best Buy in Riverbank was still open. It was a lot closer to me. The Modesto 1 is a lot further for me to drive.Customer service was Nice ?

It's still a pretty good store. I just wish the Geek Squad was owned by The Geek Squad still. It was way better than. Now that Best Buy owns it. The big giant Corporation. It just is not the same. Oh well. Not to mention, their prices have gone through the roof.
