My grandma took a class,(they lost the piece as-well and dont answer the phone)an hour isnt long enough to do a good looking piece, 3 coats is needed for ceramic, and she could only use 3 colors. And they didnt have them clean their piece before starting. Complained the were busy even though there wasnt,The other pottery places are more worth it. Other places have a no studio fee, unlimited time and color, so we wont be coming back.

Nothing but a bunch of dishonest lier's. They got my hopes up and then crushed them. Making it so I don't even want to paint anymore. Thank you for discouraging artists.

This place was adorable! Loved seeing the collection of beautiful pieces from local artists right in our neighborhood! Jessica welcomed us in warmly, as she overheard us talking about the activities calendar on the wall she was so gracious in sharing with us all about their classes for artists young and old. This is definitely a space that should be celebrated and we loved having the opportunity to stop in. We’ll be back for a pottery class soon!

very unhappy with my experience with these people. if you are an artist, i suggest you dont bother with this place. they will end up depressing you and doing the opposite of what a muse should do. they discourage artists.

My daughter and I received 2 classes as a gift for Christmas and I couldn’t be happier! We had so much fun at our Play With Clay class today, the staff was incredibly sweet and so helpful accommodating a change in our schedule. My daughter and I talked about the murals on the building and just had fun creating. I can’t wait for our next class and would love to make it a regular thing ♥️

I'm glad I gave this place another chance after there was a misunderstanding. It was frustrating and I was disappointed because I prepaid for an art class and didn't know of a side entrance so when I arrived I thought I got scammed because the art gallery was closed and they forgot to put a sign up to let people know about the other entrance for classes after hours. Mistakes happen I get it. They called me back and apologized and I decided to try it again. This time they had the sign up and they didn't charge me for the class. Jen was really personable and friendly. Alyssa was really welcoming too. I will definitely come back here. Really classy place and just what I was looking for.

Great local business that engages with the community. My kids take classes here (funny enough, I took classes from the owner at the art gallery in the McHenry Museum basement when I was a kid!) The staff are invested in the kids, and we love seeing the changing artwork along the side of the building. Keep up the great work!

Their teachers are wonderful and the classes are very affordable considering the expertise of the instructor and all materials being included!
