“This was a church I was raised in and the preacher is my nephew and we were celebrating a life of another nephew that passed at the age of 23. We hade other family there from different towns in Calif and one from Boise and one Amarillo texas. All together there was approx 100 people there and the service was well done.a very touching time with a lot of the one that past from past school teacher, preacher, cross country coaches and neighbors that he would help with lawn chairs as he was a giver. Rest in pease Chris and will join you in heaven when my time comes ??”

The people here are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The pastor is a good preacher and really discussed important topics. “Shelter Cove is a special Church. They are incredibly welcoming - greeting you as you enter with warm smiles and handshakes. The coffee is incredible, and the sanctuary is wonderful. One of the best mentions is how they keep donation requests to a short section in the beginning of their service and explain exactly what the funds will be used for - great causes like ending child trafficking, future expansion, and other needs. They make you feel welcomed into a community from the start. Finally, their authenticity is apparent and the music is great - many of the singers have incredible voices!”
“Friendly neighbors, nice little community. Except when I had asked the gentleman if their was a restroom I could use he flat out said nope sorry ain't open. After walking almost all morning trying to find a restroom just to be let down by a church had me a little questionable About that community. But after all I walked a little farther to find another place called mission, where I was finally able to go to bathroom after holding it for so long. An having kidney issues already it was a relief.”

“Beautiful church and the Spanish mass officiated by the priest from Colombia is very nice.. he was very approachable when we ask him to bless my son as a baby and also whe he introduced and blessed the babies on Sunday mass.. my son was baptized there too and it was beautifully done”

“This might be the best option for hearing Catholic doctrine, attending the traditional liturgy, and receiving the sacraments in all of Central California. The priest was very nice, as was the man who came with him. I was glad to hear common sense affirmed, regarding the invalidity of the Novus Ordo sacraments. The bulletin showed Mass every day of the week, and this was confirmed through social media. It is too bad that they did not speak Spanish, but the Mass is in Latin as it should be.”

“The place has really moved up in the level of care & support they're providing for the homeless & nearly homeless. The wide variety of services that they offer & pretty much everyone can get something out of, makes the place 1 of the top shelters available. Some of us just can't submit to the strictly scheduled life inside & would rather do without than be at the mercy of someone else's choices about we can do. Having a place to get a shower, a bite to eat, wash a few clothes, charge our govt phones , and help caring for the pets that are necessary for us to remember to care & have compassion is a true blessing.
