They sound good but could not lock down a price for a transmission rebuild. I said I wanted it to be like new but was told that they could not give me a price since they did not know what was wrong with it Becareful guys

I can't recommend these guys enough. My experience with them is everything you want an auto repair situation to be. Professional, communicative, knowledgeable and timely. I had them replace the clutch in my 2004 Toyota. Drop off was smooth, their estimated time to complete was on point. Dropped off Wednesday morning and the the old gal was ready Friday afternoon. Last clutch I had put in, the mechanic had it for a week. They called on Thursday and let me know two of my motor mounts were broken, gave me a parts estimate and replaced those as well. Cost was reasonable and I'm thrilled I decided to bring my car here rather than some general mechanic. 5/5 recommend.

The local franchise dealer couldn't figure out the problem with a Dodge Dakota. All they wanted to do was replace parts until the problem was fixed. Clutch & Transmission Technicians was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly. And for less money than the dealer wanted just to try and fix it.

This is my 2nd time with going to CTT Transmission. I’m come from Oakdale to specifically work with Ray and his crew. They are very knowledgeable and willing to work until you are satisfied. They helped me decided on what’s the best outcome for a long term. The 1st time I went they were very helpful and now the 2nd time they exceeded my expectations. Ray helped me with explaining what happened and leading cause. Ray and John explained what failed in my transmission and even showed proof what failed. They REBUILT my transmission on my 2000 Ford Explorer and I could not be anymore better Hands down best place for Transmission work! This is the second transmission that they have done for me. The first job they did on my Mercury mountaineer was so good I came back to get my gmc Acadia done..The owner is honest and explained everything . These folks repaired the slipping clutch on my 2004 VW Passat wagon, which has a five-speed manual transmission. Now it doesn't slip and is REALLY sensitive. I mean, I popped the clutch and stalled the car twice because I'm still getting used to how it feels. I think they did a pretty good job at a reasonable price. I'm pretty sure I spent more on the repair than the car is worth, but hey, still cheaper than a new car, and I get 31MPG on the freeway... I can't lock it, the upholstery is torn, and there are some other things that need my attention... what-everrrrrr...It's Graffiti week here in Modesto! It's about cars, baby, cars!

These guys run a great shop and honest business. We had a part that they replaced go out almost a year later and they honored the warranty without me even having to ask. I was just happy that I didn't have to go track down any paperwork as they kept it all in their system. They do good work.
