Have been a patient at Cornerstone for 35 years, Always felt safe and well cared for. What has happened??? After recent visit my prescription was not called to pharmacy and my two referrals were not sent after ten days. Arrangements to follow up on serious conditions were made only at my request. Not alowed to change doctors until you have left current one. And then new provider will not see me until July. Helllllllllp!!

I have been going to Cornerstone Family practice for 24 years. I always get the best treatment from the doctors here and will continue to keep going here.

Excellent family medicine practice. I've been a patient for over 30 years and have always appreciated the care I received here. The same day appointments for minor emergencies have been a lifesaver on many occasions, especially when I had young children.

The records department is stuck in the stone age and they're total jerks about it. I don't live in Modesto anymore, and i need to get my records. Apparently I have to own a fax machine to request them. Who owns a fax machine in 2022??? They said the only other option would be for them to physically mail me the consent form for signature and I'd mail it back to them. I said ok, but it's been weeks and still nothing has arrived. Who runs this s*** office? bunch of lazy geezers with attitudes

FCPP Dr Lam’s office used to be really good until they set up the call center. The call center will not forward calls to my Dr Lam. The Call Center refused to make an appointment for my daughter to see Dr Lam even though Dr Lam stated he would see her. My daughter had to go to another physician cause I could not get thru to Dr Lam’s office. So needless to say the Call Center has made It difficult to get with Dr Lam’s front staff. So if you want to talk to your office staff I do not recommend this place because now it’s all about a call center which does not care about the patient or your needs. It’s about call’s and messages because a call center does not care about the pt it’s quantity not quality of the call and you wont be able to get thru to your Dr.

Terrible ever since all the good doctors left. People are made to wait weeks for appointments and when you finally get one doctor's don't seem to care. I miss the way this practice use to be. It was the best. Now it's time to find new doctor. I was a patient for over 15 years. I will not be going back.

I’ve been a patient at this “family” practice for over 21 years. This place is NOT a “family” practice anymore. This is corp health care, NO female doctors, no NP on staff anymore (was told they don’t hire them per receptionist) and do not do pain management anymore. Meaning they WILL NOT prescribe pain meds. This just means you have get to pain specialists. One more step, one more additional appt because they don’t want to continue with what doctors have done there for YEARS. Was told today by my new doctor “your doctor is gone, he quit” when he told he was retiring. Now realizing that Mcgrew and Chin probably were over this sell out. All the doctors who actually help people more than just “colds and flu” have BOUNCED! Not the same family practice. Heartbreaking that it’s this way now.

Since the two Dr McGrews and Dr Chin have left it us terrible!!! Dr Montalvo took over some of the patients, wouldn't refill prescriptions, saying he's uncomfortable and then asks the patients to leave the practice. I don't know what kind of patient he is trying to get but he is a very Poor excuse for a dr!!!

Not what it use to be. Very unfortunate that a good medical practise has been the victim of bad business. I was a patient for over 15 years and will not be going back all the good doctors have left. Don't waste your time and energy trying to get an appointment.

I would give this clinic a ZERO if I could so people don't go to this clinic they only care about making the $ not the patient. Since Dr. McGrew was our last good doctor since then it all went to hell. Dr. Paul McGrew was our last doctor but he wasn't as good as his brother was. He prescribe to us 6 months of our regular meds and now that he retired this clinic does not honor the 6 months prescribed until we attend to another doctor of theirs. Plus not all doctors their take MEDICARE only a few, we have Blue Cross to backup Medicare and still no dice. I spent more time waiting in the lobby then in exam room and get charged for the whole time we are in inside office.

If your African american, do not come to this place: they are so racist, rude, unprofessional and very disrespectful. The lady who sits downstairs to check patients for covid tried to diagnosis me with covid and make me walk up the back stairs. I refused because I tested negative so she called the cops on me and I am no longer a patient at this place. Honestly I would like to explain what went down but it's so crazy so too much to type. Just know they do act funny to those of color.

They charge you differently every time depending on the mood of the doctor, even though is something as simple as sending you for lab test.The doctors don’t follow up with you, you have to make another appointment and pay more for them to take your vitals and not give you any solutionAlso, they will send the medication to your pharmacy and also to Express Scripts so you will ended up with 3 bills ( one for the doctor, one for your pharmacy, and one from Express Scripts)“My wife went to a regular visit, they sent the medication to Walgreens, we got it there. The following weekend we received the medication from Express Scripts coming directly from the Doctor (we have never agreed or used the service before)... they don’t accept returns. The practice asked me to get a doctamente saying that they (the doctor) placed that order, after I finally got it, they replied saying that they can’t do anything...When your try to talk with the administrator, they will last up to 2 months to reply saying that they can’t help you because they use a 3rd party billing company.Definitely the most horrible experience...

I will be looking for a different doctor office. The office staff at this location is abhorrent, impatient and rude. I was denied an appointment and then put on hold for 45 minutes. I drove to the office, on hold, to find no patients in the office, no phones ringing off the hook. Why was I on hold? They would not answer me, all the while looking like a child with their hand in the cookie jar. I was treated rudely and the administrator did not seem to care. She defended her office staff's despicable treatment of a patient.
