Horrible customer service! I made a reservation went to the fortified location & there was no parking & all was locked up. I was not able to go into the office. As i was researching a contact number a lady (assume it was the office agent) came to the fence & yelled “what do you want” NO not “how can i help you”. In a high toned voice she continued rambling who knows what. As a potential “new” customer I soon wondered what future encounters would be like (I’m sure not pleasant). So decided somewhere would be better even if i have to pay more.

Back in 2015 I got a unit from here and the staff was good. I came and got a smaller unit in 2019 just for a couple days like I told the office because I needed to redue a room in the house. And when I came and clean it out I let the office know I was moving out.. then I got a call from a lady saying did u move out I said yes I let the office know she got rude and said noone was told. I let her know that I talked with the office and let the guy on the golf cart know I was moving out as well when he came up to me asking what I was doing. I let him know I was moving out and I let office know he said ok I will let them know as well I said great. And I told her that and she was still rude. And just for the short time my stuff being in that unit I found Roaches in there. On the way out I asked the guy if they spray for bugs. He said no.. I was shocked. So I still had my big unit there that I needed to get out of there. So I called the office and asked the lady.. what can I do with my unit because I was told you guys don't spray for bugs. She said your right you can spray your unit if you like. So I did to help from getting anymore buys off in my unit.. so over the years I been moving my stuff out of the unit and had to throw away items that was brand new because of bugs.. I finished moving out in 2023.. I have lost a lot of money because of the bugs issues. And before I moved out on the last week a guy on the golf cart came buy and this was a different guy. He asked how I was I let him know I wasn't happy because of all these bugs I have found in my unit and you guys don't spray. Which isn't far for people that store there stuff here. He said I know this is a first storage place I worked at that don't spray and don't understand why.. I said ya that's why I'm moving out because I found a storage place that is cheaper in price and that goes out and spray pest because I have seen them do it and they make sure they don't have any bugs. I wouldn't rent from derrels they have rude people in the office and they have bugs which I still see because just moved out some stuff that my friend had in his unit and there was bugs in there. I told my friend to go where I'm at it maybe a little farther from where we live but it's better...”

I've been using Derrel's since 2019 and my things have always been safe and secure. The people there are very friendly and easy to talk too.

My mother has a storage here on Mariposa. The big guy and the woman nasty people. You first rent they smile at you but they are fake. The only thing I’ve ever seen them do is ride on that small cart. There this really small lady who works there. I must say she is the best she treats everyone equal. Makes everyone feel welcome. We will only deal with her. You guys need more people like her and less people like them

There are plenty of units, units are clean and lit on inside, fair prices, big aisles, drive up right to your unit, covered storage for boats, cars, RVs. Worst feature is that gates close at 7 and no entry after that time; secure gate that is code accessed.

Excellent, excellent Customer Service. Two different representatives treated me in courteous, respectful, and professional manner. Rented one unit and am very happy with it. Easy to unload and entire grounds in well-kept condition.

Not like other storage businesses this place is honest professional and curtious too. I left Prime Storage because of there bad business practices like advertising a low price then immediately raising the rates that you agreed upon. But I don't think that I will have that issue here at Derrel's Mini Storage. I have heard they are the best priced and don't change the price once your in there. I liked the service the deal I got and the security too. I'm satisfied and glad I left Prime Storage to come here.
