I went into this bank to get a lock box and a rude employee by the name of Andrea asked me what I was putting in it, in which she’s not allowed to do and was telling me you can’t put cash in there and told me to wait that she’s busy with attitude. She was also being rude to other employees

The location with high standards of customer care.You would definitely feel that they go an extra mile to fine tune to your needs This kind of zeal is rare in these times . I was helped by their very humble vice president Mrs Denise Goodell. Once I was there the next day, I felt this place is truly my very own bank

F&M bank McHenry Ave Modesto. Over the past years that I have been a client of F&M bank on Mchenry have. There is a lady named Mara Upton. This lady does and outstanding, fantastic job. She is so pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. The best thing is if she doesn't know the answer she finds out ""and gets back to you the same day. It is because of her I am still at F&M bank even though they are not interest competitive on CD's. She is wonderful to work with. Richard

I always was good with this bank because the lines are shorter than some of the others, but I had a very bad experience with “Denise” who sits behind a desk. I just want others to be spared of taking it personal if she’s cold , makes cutting remarks, and completely unfriendly. That’s just her personality she’s like a very mean robot.

It seems odd to be reviewing a bank. I have to give a shout out to Farmers & Merchants Bank.I usually go to the McHenry and Rumble location. I have gone in with what I thought was a difficult situation, and EVERY time they have helped me. Moving back to Cali, Stolen purse.. Divorce (changing accounts) forgetting passcodes. Always friendly. Oh yeah, you can love your bank!

I went in about 4:30. Even though it was very close to closing and I wanted to open an account I was still treated great. First Autumn waited on me and she was so kind and helpful. Then I waited in a chair till Mara could wait on me. She was so nice. She kept apologizing for me having to wait but really it was my fault. I waited till 4:30 to come in and they close at 5. Mara was so helpful and took care of everything and helped me get a new account. I love this bank and I'm so glad I opened an account.

Mediocre bank experience. I closed two accounts as a result of being out of state. I had to write them a letter to make it official, they charge me $7 for a money order to return my balance. Why could they have not written a check? The problem with banks in Modesto is they are all disappointing, even the credit unions, you are just kind of stuck with what you get.

Horrible service honestly I like them at first until I tried depositing a check from my school and they wouldnt weird my friend has the same bank they let her cash her but not me !! Same check plus they were super rude !!!

My father in law and I went in a couple days ago. We waited 20 minutes. I needed to get copies of bank statements so I could close my corporation. They told me that they charged $7.00 a statement. I needed several. I said, "really this is the third bank I've been to and you are the first to charge." The lady said let me see what I can do. She gave me the 4 statements I needed and said how does $14.00 sound. It took her literally 5 minutes to look it up and probably would have been faster if she could have moved faster. Not wanting to argue I said okay and handed her my ATM card. Her response was that I would have to go outside, use the ATM and bring cash back in. Really? This is why I will never bank here. Horrible customer service. The bank manager waived the fees but only because we complained and she clearly was not happy about it. There are a lot of banks who offer far better customer service without the frivolous fees. No thanks F & M. Do your homework and shop around.

I always work with Mara who started my account and has helped me move into the community, make contacts in the community and engage best with Modesto people. The environment is welcoming, safe for exposure to Covid19, and everyone is always kind. I like the ease of using this bank and highly recommend it to new members in the Modesto area.

I work at a small non-profit and we bank at F&M Bank along with a few a other "big name" banks. I tend to cringe when I have to go to the "big name banks" because of the extremely long lines and the rushed feeling I get from the bank tellers. I love that I don't that get that feeling from the tellers at F&M. The tellers at the McHenry branch are always so sweet, quick and helpful. Even with concerns over the pandemic the tellers at this bank have done an amazing job at being personable while keeping distance and making me and others feel safe.
