I absolutely love training with both Donna and Sarah! Fun classes and lots of information. I have been training my own dogs since 1979 and just have so much fun in these classes! My husband comes to classes too, and is learning so much! I highly recommend themMarie, Scott and Koko

I enrolled my Doberman pup in their Puppy Kindergarten class. I couldn't have been happier with my experience at GDDT. I drove all the way from Stockton to Modesto because of how excellent they are.The class is informative, especially for anyone new to raising and training a puppy. It also serves as an excellent source of early socialization, which is so critical to young puppies. I felt safe and assured regarding the cleanliness and sanitation that's truly necessary for puppies that are still going through vaccinations. The foundation that Puppy K offers is absolutely worthwhile, and you owe it to yourself and your pup to enroll.Every question the instructor was asked was answered comprehensively and in a way that made it easy for everyone to understand. I was really pleased with the location itself. It's on a quiet street, the parking lot is ideal for providing enough stimulation that you can work on some training a few minutes before without overwhelming the puppy. I really could go on and on. Suffice to say I highly recommend GDDT to anyone looking for a solid, well organized and well-priced trainer.I had planned on bringing my boy back for the Tweens classes, but our move is going ahead of our initial timeline. I'm disappointed I couldn't continue his training with GDDT specifically. Hopefully I can find one like GDDT in our new city.

Super happy to have had the opportunity to bring my puppy for training here! Donna and Sarah are amazing trainers and really care about giving you all the tools to feel confident in training your dog. I mostly worked with Sarah- she has a great sense of humor, and I always enjoyed seeing her interact with her very well trained fleet of dogs at her lovely property. Donna is also a wonderful trainer, very kind and patient. They're both just nice people, which makes the experience even better. I'm moving soon, otherwise I would have 100% continued with the progression of classes they offer for training- 10/10 recommend!

Was asked to leave 10 minutes in. The old lady we met with was rude cranky no sense of humor and was not in the mood to train our 1 year old. I like to rough house with my dog. She said I should stop and I said no. I was kidding of course but then was asked to leave

I HOPE you get Sarah for puppy tweens or recall. She is a great trainer. She is loving to her well-trained demo doggos, and she even fosters high-needs cases. She said my Labrador Willow had no central nervous system and I was like "yeah, show Labs are gorgeous but can be pretty slow." We both laughed about that, as the joke is both true and totally hilarious to anyone who knows anything about retrievers. Humorous and totally true. I can also speak for Donna, because my other Lab took beginning obedience and nose work with her and then earned SEVEN AKC titles using the skills she learned in Donna's classes. Get Sarah. Or get Donna. They both know a ton about dogs.

We had a great time attending the tweens 1 class with our dog Willow. Sarah is very patient and helpful. Each dog/owner got personal attention from Sarah. She sent out an email each week reviewing each class and a packet of training information sent home. Our dog loved going to training and now gets excited whenever my hubby puts on his red jacket (the jacket he would wear to training). We will definitely be signing up for Tweens 2 after the new year

I have a 5 month old Rottweiler named Meeko, and although my family has had Rottweilers my entire life, I wanted to invest in training for him. Initially I looked in to other programs that were quite costly, but I wasn't sold on the idea of letting my puppy go with other people for weeks because what good does that do me if other people do the training without me being present? So my Vet recommended Good Dog, and you really get your bang for your buck. The catch is they do not train your dog, but rather they train you on how to train your dog. The key is YOU have to put in the work, and they certainly equip you with the tools to have your pup engaged with you, listen to you, keep eye contact, and manage impulse control. I saw the bad review on Sarah, and I think it was just impart of her sarcastic humor. Sarah was really good at breaking down why it is important to be disciplined, and her Great Dane and other dogs showed as excellent demos that the program works. Also, she offered a fantastic rural location where we could let our pups play off the leash before class began, and that was tremendous in Meekos socialization with other breeds. I highly recommend Good Dog, but don't expect them to train your dog, but rather give you the tools to equip you to train your dog at home, and it's up to you to put in the work.

The best thing I ever did for me and for my dog was to take Good Dog Dog Training classes. Having never owned a high energy dog before, the classes helped me learn how to teach my dog manners and self control while still having tons of fun with him. Obedience, tricks, coming when called...we have both loved every class.

Donna is very professional and knowledgeable. She has helped us with our resource guarding puppy. We are learning how to work with him and not against him and he is responding very well. We are enjoying our puppy again!

Donna an excellent coach mentor and dog reader. She able to adapt her program to a dogs learning style. It takes experience in working with dogs and she definitely has. I’ve taken her nosework and obedience series with my 2 chocolate Labrador Retrievers. Great hours offer and some of the coolest locations. Her staff are very experienced also in positive training methods.

Donna is the absolute best! I've taken two dogs through training with her. Donna helped me with my little Schipperke in nose work and then again with my Maltese cross for obedience and Canine Good Citizen. Donna is kind, patient, and wonderful with her students. She is extremely knowledgeable and will absolutely make a huge difference in your relationship with your dog! Whether you're getting a puppy or you want to better the relationship with your current pet, I recommend her 100%!

Good Dog Training is top notch. I have only worked with Donna and she is very knowledgeable. I am impressed with the things she knows about dogs. I am a new dog owner and have a dog with issues. Donna has taught us how to how to handle our puppy. He has become more sociable and we know how to help him deal with situations that are scary for him. Thanks Donna
