Great learning environment, clean, and caring teachers. Children are very engaged and love their school. Each month has a theme: planets, bugs and spring, etc. They have language, math, and art every day. They have a nice outdoor play area. They incorporate science and building character. My son in TK loves his STEM class which is after TK class, topics change every 2 months: lego robotics, music with Prodigies, solar engineering, UCMAS math, etc. Its been great exposure and enrichment to things that we cant provide at home. My son in the 3 year old class also loves his teacher, and upcomming teachers as they have an open floor plan and all teachers love all the kids. They truly enjoy what they do. My 3 yo has learned cutting with scissors and write letters very well.

Our 3 year old has been attending Grace Academy for almost a year so we have a good sense of what it's like.I scoured reviews just like you probably are doing now. If you're anything like me you probably go straight for the heart- right to the 1 star reviews to see if I could use my deductive reasoning to decipher if it was an overreactive/ expectant parent complaining about minor issues. While a lot of the reviews from other schools (not here) seemed like overreactions, some of them were shocking like allowing random people not on approved lists to pick kids up, unsanitary conditions, too many kids-to-teacher ratio leading to kids coming home injured frequently, the list went on. I was suspect of every school and I was afraid we wouldn't find a match. We walked out early from three prior tours with other facilities because we instantly knew it just wasn't for us. The first place was dirty upon arrival, alarmingly disorganized, visibly dusty & the classroom felt like a dungeon. The second place had a shocking amount of children (they were approved for a 24 to 1 ratio) (*WHAT*?) The 3rd place did not allow parents to view the classroom or enter the indoor facility at any time. We scratched our heads and just couldn't bring ourselves to trust them. When we found Grace Academy, it was like something clicked. It was so good that the day we toured I said we wanted to sign up right then and there. You could instantly feel the sense of family. The kids are welcomed but families were, too. It has open concept "rooms" ie partitioned in an open space so everyone can see out (and parents can see in). It's clearly designed by purpose for transparency. You are welcome to observe whenever you like but they of course advise us to allow the kids to find their rhythm without you hovering. After seeing the excitement of the first day run through our daughter, we never felt the need to come back to observe. But the choice is still yours. The first day we left her tiny eyes welled up with tears when we told her we were leaving. She tried not to cry but covered her face doing her best to keep the tears in. Her teacher gave us a big thumbs up of approval that it was going to be ok. However, this whole encounter made me tear up as soon as I stepped outside. We sat in the car for a few minutes wondering if we just leave or hang out. A few moments later I burst into tears in the passenger seat of our car- strangely annoyed at myself that I was "that parent" crying over a very normal and healthy life milestone. What if she was scared, what if she wasn't being comforted? What if she wanted to come home? But the next move changed it all. We received a picture and message from her teacher. "All good here mom and dad!" She was smiling holding hands with another little girl playing knee deep in toys. That was the first and last time any tears were "almost" shed. When we picked her up she screamed "I LOVE SCHOOL!" Pros:They use an app to send pictures and videos of your kiddo each day. It is the highlight of our day when we get updates of what they are working on.Very organized. They provide the daily schedule in advance and each child has a cubby under their space that is yours to take home- usually dry artwork/crafts. They do super cute activities and our daughter loves telling us about it. Daily snacks are provided and the monthly calendar lists what will be available each day.Clean facilities: because it's an open concept preschool there's no room for disorganization or dirty areas. It's always well maintained and you can tell they take great pride in their space. The teachers/aides/staff clearly love what they do. The kids are greeted with hugs, smiles and excited high fives. We feel free to ask any and all questions. Any "unscheduled progress reports" ie "how has she been doing today/this week?" are detailed, thorough, thoughtful, honest and we never feel like they are annoyed when we ask. Student led creativity: at the beginni

My daughter loved this school so much. The teachers are so caring and they helped her grow socially and academically while she was there. They went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and meet her where she was at. Teacher Claudia’s love for teaching and children is the heartbeat of this place and we are so glad we had the chance to experience it. Thank you Grace Academy!

My son is 4 and he attends the preschool in which is near and dear to my heart. But with an unbiased approach, he is ready for kindergarten! He Has come so far from a social aspect as well as the learning aspect. He knows (and enjoys) how to be in a classroom. He has learned so much this year…the latest topic has been about space and he is enjoying it so much. He can write his name free hand. Ms. Thao gives her all to these kids and they love and respect her. Thank GACP for a wonderful year.

My daughter attended Grace Academy Christian Preschool last year. Since it was our daughters first preschool experience , we toured many local preschools in Modesto and had bad experience and Grace Academy truly shined from every aspect. The reason being they followed a principle of an open concept and anytime the kids go up to the next class, they do an amazing job to prepare the kids and the teachers communicate frequently to share how kids are doing in their class. The teachers are beyond amazing... fun, creative, loving, patient and the list goes on. They never hesitate to go the extra mile for their students. We've seen so much growth in our children , both social and an academic level through the education they are receiving at Grace Academy.During COVID time last year, we also found that the administrations willingness to be flexible and accommodating to our specific needs to be invaluable. They also provided homework for all kids which are made by the teachers itself and my daughter truly enjoyed it and kept her occupied during COVID. They were also followed all COVID guidelines and went that extra mile to provide the upmost safety for all children and staff. We absolutely love Grace Academy and if your looking for a well rounded preschool with exceptional teachers, competent and involved team look no further , Grace Academy is the best preschool for your child.

My 4 year old learned her ABC's withing a few months, learned the sounds of each letter and learned how to read sight words very quickly! The staff really cares about the children's education and it definitely shows.During distance learning, the school adapted quickly and via Zoom, made it work! I cano not be any more grateful for what they have done and taught the children!

The teachers are great! Ms. Kim thought both my daughters when she taught at St. Paul's. They had a positive experience and many happy memories.
