Well I’ve waited 6 months to leave a review. I hate to leave a bad review. But I ordered a couch in February from Matt one of the owners and let me tell it’s been a nightmare! When my couch’s were delivered they were wrong, apparently this is a very common thing. I was able to talk with Matt that day and he told me he would look into things. He then told me he was working with the company to get my additional pieces for my sectional as fast as they could. Well it is November and I have to constantly call and check on what is going. He even at one point went to the extent and scheduled a delivery for me and nothing ever showed up, while I sat home waiting for it. Guess what when I called about no one showing up he wasn’t available to me. Poor little Maria is left to deal with his mess! The one star is for Maria, she’s been so nice and kind to me! I talked with Mr Matt Hansen on Friday, and he promised to call me on Monday and guess what it is Wednesday and I Still haven’t heard from him even after leaving a message for him. He never once offered any type of discount or money back for the inconvenience this has caused me until I brought it to his attention about it. I encourage you to really re consider doing business with Matt as he has very poor customer service experience for follow ups.

Hansen's furniture is a scam. Read your sales contract! They have a no cancellation policy which means 25% of the purchase price for cancellation fee. The reason I preface my post with this information is because I ordered a set of couches back in July. They told me 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and I called them on the 9th week and they told me another 6 weeks. Four weeks after that they told me six more weeks. Three weeks after that they told me 6 to 8 weeks. At this point I have no choice but to cancel my order as it will probably be sometime in 2024 before I get what I ordered. and I have lost $1100 because of Hansen's The crooks.

Less than 5 stars. I ordered a couch back in April after being in a wheelchair for 5 months and 3 surgeries. Needed a comfortable place to sit. They said 6 to 8 weeks. Every time I call I get a different excuse or answer. It started with 4 more weeks then 3 more weeks. Then 2 weeks for sure this time then 2 weeks again. Now I called today and they said 45 more days. I need a comfortable place to sit.

Well should have checked yelp first but we purchased furniture from them in the past and were very satisfied. Salesman said no problem, 8 to 10 weeks, 10 weeks and can't even get a straight answer. Should have read the back page, even if the manufacturer can't get the fabric to match the one they delivered there is a 25% cancellation fee, beginning to wonder if that's their game all along.

These people are absolute crooks! IDK how other people are leaving these great reviews. They must be paid by Hansen's to leave reviews. We ordered a sofa set in June and were told it would take about 6 to 8 weeks to recieve them. 8 weeks later, called them and they said 4 more weeks. Called after 4 weeks, now they're saying 6 more weeks! And guess what? If you cancel your order, they charge you $1,500!!! I guess they use that $1,500 to pay people to leave good reviews. Unbelievable!

Abraham was so helpful and helped us find the perfect couch. Great shopping experience.Edit: I'm incredibly disappointed in Hansen's customer service. We purchased a sectional, a coffee table, 2 end tables and a bar table. We were told that our order would be ready in 4-6 weeks. After the 6 week mark. I called them, they let me know that they needed to contact the manufacturer and would call me back. They never returned my call. I called once more and the receptionist very quickly put me on hold to call the manufacturer and let me know there is a delay and we would have to wait another 3-6 weeks. I informed her that I just moved into my new house and was without furniture and would appreciate a call when any of my items become ready so I can start to utilize my space. She said she left a note in my file and would contact me. We are now 13 weeks since I placed my order and I haven't heard anything from Hansen. We called again today and they said our couch had been ready, that WE never returned their phone calls to schedule delivery AND our coffee table and cocktail table were discontinued. Never once did they contact us. I'm frustrated and nobody ever once even pretended to care and apologize for the inconvenience, instead they lied and said they "tired" to contact us. Never a waved a delivery fee, never offered a discount and sold us furniture they didn't ever have in inventory. Also I was always kind when I called to follow up, despite how nasty this review may seem.I dread going furniture shopping now and have went months without furniture in my new home, when this all could have been avoided with clear communication and for the receptionist to do her job and follow up with customers.I do not recommend.Edit 2: They had the nerve to request a later delivery date. Because the agreed upon delivery date was an inconvenience for them.Terrible business.

Ordered couch and sofa in May and they still won't give me a time for delivery. Was told it would be 8 weeks. Requested refund as they cannot tell me when it is coming. Matt says they won't refund me because it is a custom order. It is not custom, I ordered the floor model with the color swatch that the couches come in. Picking a standard couch color does not constitute custom order. This is flat out theft to take over $4,000 and not give you your product! Will be reply to every consumer agency and heading to small claims. If anyone interested in a class action suit, I would love to be Included. This business is pulling something shady.

This place is a huge scam. We ordered and paid for furniture in May that has 1) not been delivered 2) not been given a firm estimated time frame for delivery and 3) cannot be proven that it even exists. We have been given several stories about whether the furniture has been made yet or not. One story is that it has been made and is waiting for delivery (that was 4 months ago). Another story is that it is "currently in process of production" but there is no product number or proof given of this. This leads me to believe that there is no furniture and there is no production now or in the future. We will be heading to court to solve this problem. Avoid at all costs!!!

I’m not a very good shopper and usually buy the first thing I see. Well, I did this time to only it was different. I spotted the recliner that I wanted almost immediately, problem was I wanted two. The gentleman that was assisting me wasn’t pushy or hurried. He showed me every recliner in the store, practically, I was disappointed that he didn’t have two of the same chair, but I walked out with two beautiful recliners that fit together perfectly and will give me the comfort I need for FOOTBALL ? SEASONPS at a terrific priceThank you Hansen’s sorry you’re leaving Modesto

Maria the customer service is very sweet and very helpful. She was able to quickly resolve and answer our questions about our furniture orders. She is a hard worker and I hope she is getting the best from her job. Thank you Maria for being a genuine person and helping us figure out our order and delivery situation.

I add this negative review to the overwhelming list of poor reviews for Hansen's Furniture. This is the worst furniture-buying experience I have ever had...Customer service is non-existent after purchase. Owner will not return calls, calls to customer service rep are ignored, and lip service is paid for promised repairs. After waiting 8 months for delivery, sectional arrived damaged and I foolishly accepted delivery with the assurance that the issue would be taken care of quickly. Big mistake. Four months later, and I'm still getting the text run-around. The excuse that pandemic issues are to blame is ridiculous. Read the reviews...This company has a long history of pathetic customer service. Apparently, integrity is not a priority for this so-called family business. I see that the Modesto store is closing, and I received a flyer as a "preferred" customer to take advantage of their "great" deals... Fool me once...Now it seems all their energy is going into their Winton store and a fresh group of unsuspecting patrons to fleece. One more bit of info... positive Google reviews do not reflect after-purchase experience...
