I always rent my business vehicles and personal vehicles as needed from Hertz in Modesto, California.
Jasmine (manager) and Alma are both amazing at their jobs, and make me feel like a VIP every time I come in for my business.
I'm always greeted by name, and with a smile.
The service is beyond reproach, and I will continue to use Hertz as my only rental connection for both business and personal rental needs.

We ended up leaving because the customer service was so bad - reps were talking to each other, no greeting, continued their conversation after asking what we needed.. had such a better experience down the street at enterprise.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a reservation confirmed for about a wee of when I was supposed to pick up the vehicle saying that they have no vehicles.Nad the lady told me that she called me and then she said that she sent me a email when i didn't receive anything. When i was there i was asking question and she was so rude amd ignored me. Why lie the people? If you dont have a car confirm 2 or 3 days before we arrive. I pay 23 dls to go and 15 dls to come back to my house plus tips. You guys have irresponsible people working over there. And is not only that ,the lady is the manager for that Hertz. I hope you guys put people love the job,more nice,don't lie,Now I lost my time,appointment, money ,because the lady said no cars,no free ride and no money back.

Don't return an Airport car here. They will nickel and dime you. Rented at SFO with my dog returned the car in Modesto and got charged for $300 for the dog. At SFO they had No Problem with the dog.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! ZERO STARS
With a young lady who said she was the manager! With the last name Ortiz! Not sure if she gave me her true name.
She first accused me of the car smelling like smoke.
She would give me a receipt and tried to charge me a $400 cleaning fee! SMH
I called the police and they showed up shortly!
The officer smelled the car and said “He didn’t smell ANYTHING!
Also I had another person who was turning in a car smell it and she said “I DIDN’T SMELL ANYTHING LIJE SMOKE!
I’ve been in Gold member for 30+ years!
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION UNTIL SHE (The supposedly manager is removed!)

We came to get advice and informations about an issue we had during our trip, we left with a huge bill we discovered much later than the end of our trip with no detailed invoice to justify the price, even now. The bill had doubled from the annonced price!
Much more administrative than human and understanding treatment from the manager, too bad for a company like this...

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a reservation confirmed for about a week only to get a call the day of when I was supposed to pick up the vehicle saying that they have no vehicles. How can you confirm my rental reservation a week ago and then call me the day of saying you have to cancel the reservation because there are no vehicles? They offered to put me on a waitlist where’d I’d be third in line, but I literally needed the vehicle that day - that’s why I booked it a week ago. And they could give me no reason as to why a customer can be confirmed online and then not have any vehicles to provide. Completely unacceptable.
