Garage Door Shopping Experience – Disappointing Service
I recently visited Home Depot to shop for a new garage door and was disappointed with the level of customer service I received. The associate (Spencer Price) helping me only showed me the cheapest and most common model available, without offering to show me any other options. When I asked to see the rest of the models, he questioned what I was looking for and implied that any other choice would be much more expensive.
I had to insist on seeing the full range of garage doors before he finally showed me the other models. In the end, I found one that looked much better and was only $100 more than the cheapest option he initially showed me. I’m glad I pushed to see the alternatives, but I shouldn’t have had to insist just to compare my options.
Overall, I felt pressured and not fully informed as a customer. I hope Home Depot can improve their service by ensuring staff are more helpful and transparent about all available products.

I'm giving a 5 star review for the customer service. The ladies I spoke too were incredibly sweet and understanding of my predicament I'm in. Ruth and the lady who had oogie boogie buckled to her pant loop need a raise for awesome customer service

They need to have a clean sweep-down, fore and aft. I appreciate that they are rehabilitating so many to meaningful employ, but now they need to realize the need to replace the gap left by the loss of Orchard Supply and its attitude of clean happy helpful hardware attendants. By the way, greatly improved now Jun 25, 2024 thank you.

Very frustrating when an order you put in online is not available for you to pick up. Fortunately one of the clerks was able to help me redo the order. Hopefully, the order will be there next time.

Laura in equipment rentals was such a great help when Renting a trailer. She was really nice to talk to and really helpful. I wish all the home depot employees were more like her. She got me all set up and ready to go in no time.
