This is more of a review of the Lazy-boy product than the store employees. The employees we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. They do give you the hardcore sale, but I am guessing that is the case with most commission based employees. We bought two lazy boy recliners, spending almost $5000, within 1 day of having the chairs delivered one completely stopped working, it was something to do with the electrical components. I decided to not get it replaced and opted for a refund. My husband kept his, and now exactly 4 months of having it, his has stopped working. It's something to do with the welding that holds the motor in place. It seems insane to spend this much money and have such bad quality workmanship. Having one go bad seems like an accident, two in the matter of months is just negligence. Obviously LAZY-Boy is not made how it used to be. Steer clear of any lazy boy products they don't hold up anymore.

THE 1 STAR REVIEWS ARE SPOT ON. La-Z-Boy has gone down the tubes. The Modesto store manager made a big deal about La-Z-Boy being better quality than other brands, and being worth the higher price as a result. May have been true once, but not now, La-Z-Boy is just getting by on its old reputation. I bought a very expensive couch that was very shoddily put together, with rickety annoying recliners that jostle and make noises, stitching way off in several parts, and parts not matching up together cleanly. I called La-z-Boy customer service shortly after delivery, and was told a third party, "Furniture Solutions," would come to repair. I could live with the off stitching, hanging strings etc, but the rickety thing that another reviewer also mentioned is very annoying, especially for the price of the couch. Furniture Solutions never showed or called. When I called La-Z-Boy back, they claimed they had no record of me ever calling and said I would be charged $75 to have the couch inspected because by that point it was 90 days after delivery. The La-Z-Boy customer service agent, Adriane, said there was nothing she could do because I had "no proof" of my previous call. I told her I had notes of the date and time of the call, and the reference to the third-party "Furniture Solutions." How would I know they use "Furniture Solutions" if I hadn't previously called. Adriane refused to let me talk to a supervisor and was extremely rude and unhelpful. Got the impression she was very well practiced in brushing off customers!

Jenni was a wonderful representative for Lazyboy!! We put her through the paces trying to come to a final decision. She handled it very well. Thank you so much for recognizing that for us this was a major decision.

We felt that we got a very good price on the two chairs that we selected. The delivery date was surprisingly faster than we thought. The sales person that we had. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. We could not have been happier with her or our experience at La-Z-Boy.

Ordered two recliners, Jenny was great to work with. She was attentive, but not pushy. Great sale price and we got to choose the fabric! Can’t wait for them to arrive!

This is the second time we have had Shana Melguin as our Sales/Design Consultant and simply put; she is fantastic! She seems to really care for her customers; answers all our questions, makes suggestions and has a sense of humor. She almost makes spending money painless.Will definately seek her out next time we are shopping for furniture.

Beautiful showroom. Shana was incredibly helpful…and patient. Lots of fabric samples to choose from. LOVE the software program and big screen where you can see your potential furniture and fabric in a room setting with your paint colors. Took the stress away from a major purchase!

Our sales Rep Michael was outstanding. He allowed us to search around for the correct pieces for our specific home and needs and helped very much where and when we needed him. I'm just clearing 5ft while my spouse is well over 6ft. To say we have very different needs is an understatement. We took our time with no pressure and got everything we desired and much more all within our budget. We ended up getting a new sofa, bedroom chair, and a few room accessories on top of the two recliners we originally came in for. There were so many sales it was hard to pass up. We know good quality furniture when we see it. If you want a great furniture to make your residence into a home, look no further. The Modesto, CA location is the place to go. Everything is clean and beautiful with a no pressure atmosphere. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to our local La-Z-Boy in Modesto, CA.

Shana at the Fresno River Park La-Z-Boy store was very helpful to me. She helped give me all pertinent information about pricing and materials, etc. not only friendly and knowledgeable, but she handled my purchase very quickly. I really like the piece that I have ordered. I can’t wait for it to be produced and shipped.

My wife and I went to buy furniture. We found more than just recliners, they have a great selection of couches, chairs, accessories and more. We worked with Karen! She is incredible! Overall it was a good experience for us. Sales people are very knowledgeable and friendly. Found what we wanted, but NOT THE COLOR COMBO we were looking. Frankly there wasn't alot to choose from. More or less different shades of gray or off white or beige tones. No real choice. Had to settle on plain wine on ALL 3 PIECES OF FURNITURE. BORING. Wanted some pattern for the chair with wine in it to break up the monotony.
