Dealership markups. Screw this place. I hope they go out of business. Worst dealership on the plant.

I came into Mistlin Honda in search of a new car. Upon arrival I was greeted by employee Mel, who instantly made me feel comfortable to start off my car purchasing process. J.R was my salesman who helped me find my brand new 2024 Honda civic sport. J.R was such a affable guy, I have nothing but positive things to say about him and Mel throughout this whole process. On the other hand, employee Sammy was way too aggressive and lied to me multiple times about my options in regard to my purchasing process. I do not appreciate the lies from and let alone the constant paucity of transparency. The rest of Mistlin Honda crew was AMAZING and would suggest them to anyone in search of a Honda.

My AC went out over a summer and I came to Honda and ask if they could take a look, they told me it would cost $400+ to look at it then the fixing would be extra.. two years later I get a letter in the mail the the AC has been recalled and they must work on it for free. Nervous to take it in. But I need my AC fixed

I can say with certainty that this was by far the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted and they happened to have one being delivered later in the week and reserved it for me (2023 CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring). The internet sales manager Jorge (George) always answered phone calls (even when he was in Yosemite) and returned texts promptly, he granted my requests regarding dealer options and pricing ahead of time (after running it up the chain of course). Upon arriving he handed us off to Tomas who was friendly and got through the process quickly while making sure we were comfortable. After the test drive and prep we waited our turn for the scary part, meeting the financing agent. Nick was was quite the opposite from scary, he was kind, gracious and personable. He made the process easy while giving us a great deal on an extended warranty (I had done my research, so I was surprised when he threw out a street value number). We left the dealership in complete amazement. Based on this experience it is no surprise how we kept hearing about everyone's long tenure with the dealership. Thank you guys for making this the best car buying experience ever.

We wanted to purchase different vehicles, one for long-distance economy and comfort; one for economical short trips; one of these two might be an SUV or a truck: we looked at the numbers; excluded some for size; reviewed Consumers Report and other publications that rated the new vehicles... so our choices came down to comfort, drivability, and handling. We narrowed the field to 4 different vehicles that fit our needs. We met with one of the sales people, laid out what we wanted based on our analyses of options, size, economy, reliability. and asked to drive each of the four -- specifically because of the work we'd done in advance. He refused, said we could test drive only one... but that we'd have to make an appointment for a later day.We showed early the appointed day, but the salesman didn't show.We called the number on his business card, and left a voice mail. After a week, no response. We went back to Mistlin twice: the salesman was busy the first time and left after working with another customer. The second time, he told us that he'd had "something come up" and couldn't find my business card to call me. He couldn't take us out that day, but if we came back that following day at 2:00 PM, he'd let us drive ONE vehicle. He didn't show: we were 20 minutes early and waited over an hour. Obviously, he felt we were wasting his time.We approached the sales manager and related our inability to test-drive the vehicles, but he said that he wouldn't interfere with his sales staff.I tried once again to contact the individual, but my call was never returned. We hadn't discussed price (not an issue), service contracts, financing, reliability, anything but wanting to see vehicles that met our combined needs. Frankly, we were dumbfounded -- and shocked -- by their treatment. We didn't wear political t-shirts or hats: we're two average, clean-cut, pleasant, presentable people who didn't say anything negative about anyone or anything; we're both professionals -- and act accordingly, and we were dressed for the broiling hot weather. We weren't pushy, demanding or rude: my wife and I are both diplomatic, tactful, courteous, and are long-standing members of the community. We drove to Walnut Creek, and sat down with the Sales and General Managers, related our analyses of Honda's vehicle line and what we wanted to do. They were kind enough to allow us both to drive those vehicles we wanted to check out: my wife and I went out for coffee and compared notes about the vehicles. We settled on two choices that met our needs that we both liked, went back to the dealership, and bought two new Hondas, cash deal, for a total cost of $87,191.42 -- not including the extended warranty service policies we later purchased. We had a neighbor drive us to the dealer two days later and accepted delivery. We drove to Mistlin and showed the Sales Manager -- and, when he returned from lunch, the General Manager -- our paperwork, both vehicles, including the temporary registration that proved these were our vehicles. Once again, we were treated rudely, and warned that we should have the vehicles serviced in Walnut Creek. All of this was so unnecessary. I don't understand the rude treatment. We were polite, well-mannered, and treated horribly for all our efforts.l

Called to have my 2007 Honda CRV serviced and had a few specific items I needed done. Was told that they would charge $170 just to diagnose my problems and the repairs would be extra. Must be nice to turn down business, I guess they don't want to take care of customers. I will never go here for service or to purchase a new or used car. What is it about businesses today, no one want to give service or take care of people. It's not like auto dealerships don't make money in their service departments. Friendly service in Modesto, NOT!

Not a good experience. Wanted a lease, but wouldn't be bullied into buying, so I walked out. It's a good thing there are dealerships all over the place. Poor performance Mistlin Honda.

I bought my 2022 Honda pilot from Mistlin Honda. Best service I could ever ask for! Thomas was very helpful along with Sami and Quinn and Nick! Made my experience wanting to get another car! Also the service team is great! Their very funny and friendly but also make you feel comfortable. Never had a bad experience yet! Oh and can't forget the parts team! Very knowledgeable along with good customer service. I'd also like to point out that the techs and lube bay guys are very knowledgeable and attend to your needs as well.

Dropped car on tuesday(11/29/22) for tranny swap, was told Id hear back, come Friday(12/2/22) I call them and they tell me my tranny wont be here till next Thursday(12/8/22) also the deductible wont cover shipping....was told not to expect it till Monday(12/12/22) because they dont do weekends. Its now been a week and 6 days, 2 weeks tomorrow and I was told I can pick up my car tonight. I respond ill be in right after 5, I was told thats fine yet when I show up my paperwork and key were a chore to find for the salesperson and then im told its now too late to process a payment there so he cant give me my keys or car...was told to call in the morning to pay and pick up my car. People have lives and jobs, this dealership should really take that into account when handling these situations...clearly they dont read their own

Just came in today to look for a lease for my mom. As soon as we parked a older gentlemen approached and I told him we're just browsing. We saw a Honda suv and we approached him to ask what lease would be he said "I don't know I have to run the numbers" I said okay and then he said "If you're looking for a lease 200-250 we don't have that"....no one mentioned anything about what price range we were looking at. My mom asked why he assumed that's how much we could afford? We left there feeling really uncomfortable and definitely would never come back to this Honda location again. Please do better in engaging with customers and not assuming just because we pull up in an older car that we can only afford $200.

We used to go to this dealership to get our 2016 Honda Accord serviced there, but after having multiple bad experiences, we decided to go back to Honda in Livermore. Big difference! We will not be going back to Mistlin Honda ever again.

I just purchased my '17 accord Honda not even from this dealership and the staff & service dept treated me soooo good !!! I originally just called for advice if I needed to change just a bulb in my headlight or the entire headlight & the service dept rep pulled up my vin & found out that my car is still under warranty ! Honestly I wouldn't have even thought to check to see if it had warranty , I figured I bought it used I fix it myself .. If he didn't go over and beyond to look into that I would've had to pay a lot out of pocket to get my headlights replaced , so I was super thankful & grateful that he even did that. most would have just gave me the pricing on the headlight & ask how I'd like to pay lol . With that being said, I had my 2 year old with me & was kind of dreading the wait not going to lie lol . Francisco in service was so helpful & explained everything thoroughly & then at the end asked me if I needed a ride home .. I was kind of shocked because HELL YESSS I did ! If you have kids YOU KNOW lol . He was so fascinated with everything & wanted to touch touch touch . Steve was our shuttle driver & was so so nice , had me laughing & made us feel comfortable for the 7 minute ride home lol. He even picked us back up when my car was finished later that day , I really thought that was super nice & convenient which tops off the experience . Just signed some paperwork & was out of there within like 10 mins . Thank you mistlin Honda for my cute new headlights , the amazing experience & exceptional customer service !!!!

I think my car value was great. Finance guy Hunter seemed great but is a TRUE salesman; a twister of words!
