they used to be very good but every time they update their new app, it gets worse and worse and then they have nobody to answer the phones. I've been on hold for over an hour now. if you're thinking of opening an account, do not do it here worst customer service ever.

Cannot believe how poor the service here has become. I used to be able to call and speak to someone in less than 15 minutes now it takes at least 30 during the week. Their call 24 is a joke, it has all the same access you had before, you still cant speak to someone on the weekend, and the app they have implemented has been an overall dumpster fire from the start. Completely fed up with their service and will be switching to another bank asap.

I just went inside to pull out money from my account. I asked the bank teller if she can take out $350 from my savings account. She said "if it's in there." Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. She goes back and she's running my card somewhere in the back and all she said was "it says declined. Why don't you go use the ATM" and I explained to her that I wanted a specific amount that the ATM won't give me and I did have money in my account. she said "I'll give you change" I go back outside to use the ATM and of course it's out of service. This is a super outdated bank.

My last two encounters with MOCSE have been terrible. I was on hold last Friday for over an hour while trying to get an account verification. Today, I waited in line 20 minutes just to get on the list to wait another 35 minutes to change a payment account. There used to be an information desk for that. To top it off, they called two people who were in back of me to go first. They also have closed their walk up window for after 5 pm transactions. That used to be a nice benefit. So sad.

My account went dormant (no activity for six months) during Covid season in 2020. They initiated an "inactive account" fee and took all my money, and also emptied my daughter's account. By the time I opened the monthly statement, I was broke.

Getting tired of having my credit and debit cards frozen due to "suspicious activity " without any notice. Couldn't make an online purchase early this morning and later received an automated message informing me that the card had been frozen. Turns out they found that very transaction to be the suspicious one even though I've purchased from them before. I wish I could say it was the first time this has occurred. Very inconvenient.

Ani lamanet was such a sweetheart, it was a fast visit to open my account and she was just so quick and kind and informative. I would go back just to see her specifically. 10/10 reccomend mocse and ani!

This is a small, hometown, not so sophisticated Credit Union. Surely, they do some things well but I personally cannot speak to any of those good things. I can speak to their 1) uninformed representatives 2) stale and outdated stipulation guidelines. In my case, a loan stipulation was completely undisclosed until AFTER I purchased a vehicle, took delivery and made a down payment to a dealer. Now I must return the vehicle and start over because of a nuance regarding dealers located outside of MOCSE's sphere of influence. My credit is excellent for perspective. I would not recommend procuring an auto loan through this Credit Union.After all the MOCSE nonsense -- the selling dealership apologized and found a lower interest rate by nearly 2%! through Valley First Credit Union.To anyone living in Tuolumne County -- heed my advice and direct your credit application to a larger Credit Union with multiple locations -- Valley First Credit Union.

Been banking here for years. Always very helpful and respectful. I highly recommend this bank. Both times I have gotten a loan from them they beat their competitors offer after the fact.

Bank clerk Jeanette did not disclose an incoming wire transfer fee before my initial funding of the MOCSE account. She had me sign the terms disclosure form before giving me a copy or explaining the terms and conditions of the account. She stated the digital signature was for the file, but did not mentuon it was for the terms of agreement of the account. She handed me a paper packet after I signed digitally for the terms of agreement. Unfortunately, the clerk was condescending in her responses when asked questions. As a new member I wanted to inquire about certain benefits for MOCSE members. She referred me to the mobile site for further questions. Guess I picked the wrong credit union. Ironically there is better customer service from Citi and Bank of America and they are national institutions versus a local like MOCSE. Not the customer service I expected from MOCSE.

After banking with them for over twenty years I'm am sad to say I am parting ways. Years of rudeness and just unwillingness to help. Tried to deposit a $40,000 check from a mortgage company and they wouldn't take it. Bank of America had no problem. They are always behind on technology by years. The manager on the floor yesterday was just like nope can't help you not my problem. I will be closing my accounts with them never to return. Please steer clear of this banking institution. I'm sorry Mocse.

This cradit union use to be good. But there biggest customer complaints are with the ATM machine. It's always down. Most banks have 2 ATMs. But this place only has one. Very disappointing.
