Don't even know this woman that owns this rescue but she sent me a very ugly fb message , I'd post a pic of her message that I didn't get to reply to because she turned around and blocked me but apparently she felt the need to private message me and tell me I am a SFB.... no clue why

Recently in a tough decision to move to a city with better doctors for my son with autism, we tried everything to keep his support dog but unfortunately central ca is against FHA Laws that is in place to protect her so we could keep her. we've been discriminated against for having her and my son's disability, we've been refused service to apartments in the area, our only transportation is public and they don't allow her either. I was told this place could help, but after rude and poor communication skills I wouldn't call this place a rescue. It seems there Facebook posts are for clout I would say. They wouldn't give me an answer as to why they couldn't help but instead said I'm giving up on her, which I'm not, the area is. No wonder the surrounding areas are full of animals.

Very cute, small little shelter with wonderful staff. Today was my first day volunteering here and I had a great time and can ensure that all animals are treated incredibly good. Each dog is given as long as a walk as necessary unlike other places where they are given a certain amount of time. This facility is very big into biosecurity with both the employees and the customers.

Asked me for photos of the cats and once we sent them they refused the cats. They rejected the kittens based on looks. Why ask me for photos and then say no? SHADY When I wrote on the page they blocked me. Then they began to send me laughing emojis via text. Not professional. I'm glad they refused the kittens. They deserve better than that. whomever they have texting people needs to be fired. She would rather eat and laugh at people then do the right thing for animals. I'm probably not the first one to have a bad experience. unfortunately with Facebook messages can be deleted and people blocked so no one knows how shady these people are. Take your animals somewhere else!

Age discrimination for starters and disqualification because our vet recommended that one of our dogs not be altered until he's age appropriate (which was noted on the app). If you want a dog from them, your better off lying but chances are, they will find a way to judge & disqualify you. What I can't wrap my head around is why? Anyone choosing to spend $350 on a non purebred dog, when shelters are giving them away for free due to overcrowding, more than likely are worthy of adopting a rescue dog. Do better!

I cannot thank this rescue enough for my baby! I adopted the sweetest little puppy last week and the application process was thorough but easy! I live about an hour and a half to 2 hours away and it was sooo worth the drive. They provided all of her medical and vaccine records and had her spayed before I picked her up. I was able to just hand my vet her folder to see what remaining vaccines she'll need in a couple of weeks. Thank you sooo much Karri and Pupz N Palz Rescue!

Do not write to them. Karri will share your information with the public. Very unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever.

I called hoping they would be able to take a stray cat that I humanely trapped, but it ended up going straight to voicemail. I suddenly got a text from them asking if they could help, so I explained the situation. When they said they couldn't help and take the cat, I asked what shelter COULD take the cat, but they never responded. This is not the way to run a business and I'm not the only one to leave a bad review. See the screenshot attached to this review showing proof of their lack of communication skills.

Love this place! Recommend getting an animal from here, because they are rescued and it's a no kill policy. These animals need a loving home. The staff does whatever possible to help these animals. They are overwhelmed with a lot of work and animals, but they truly do care and do whatever it takes. Nobody is perfect! The public always demands more from them, but they do there best to help.

Karri is awesome! I have adopted 3 dogs, a cat, and a bird from pnp and each experience was wonderful. I see some of their reviews call karri rude but having volunteered in rescue I have learned that they are overwhelmingly busy and sometimes can't get right back to people. When you deal with a rescue I encourage you to be patient as they are all volunteers. I love karri and this rescue and I definitely recommend pnp.

This is our go to spot for foster and adoptions. Maverick is the most helpful human on the planet. We love how friendly and caring they are of all the animals. Thank You for all you do! Keep up the great service to Modesto.
