Redwoods saved my life. However sober living is supposed to transition you into independence and the Cali House sets women up to fail. Teaching them they are untrustworthy and won't ever be trustworthy. They don't give you a chance to build your strength in order to live in the REAL WORLD.

Redwoods helped me with so much came there with barley anything. I just had my son and right before my sons first birthday I was able to bring home my other son that was with my mom and dad. I'm so grateful for this place. They helped me get what I neededI even went to their grad house which helped me even more to become more independent & responsible. I was able to get into a place of my own too. I have my kids with me and I now work at redwoods as staff I've been working here 2years now. I'm grateful I get to help women and kids.

I do not recommend working here I was with them as a faithful employee working 6 days a week going in at all times no matter what I have pulled double shifts and went 3 whole years with out ever taking a break nor a lunch I devoted my life to Redwoods yes they did help me in my recovery and thanks to them I am now 8 years clean and sober. on 03/23/23 I was called in to the Corson site where they handed me à letter cowardly and all they said was to read the letter no reason or explanation come to find out they fired me due to something a client had said to her social worker at first I was really going through it but I no My God Is good and he does not like ugly so with that being said think twice about giving your all to a employer who does not care about you or your family.

Totally not what I expected and I don't mean in a good way. They seem to think everyone that comes there is court ordered. Which is not true. Some woman are there bt personal choice. I think there should be different rules for the latter group.

We were visiting a resident. Staff was engaged, approachable, and friendly. There were places to sit and visit, and they offered to include us in activities. My only suggestion is to get the various Google listing for the address cleaned up...and street signage (even address numbers) to help find the right place.

Redwoods is a awesome place for recovery and finding Jesus. I've seen many women learn a new way to live off drugs and miracles happening & families being reunited and I give Redwoods 10 stars

Went down to donate some children’s toys and clothes. A lady had informed me about this location and let me know they took donations for women that have had children. I was thrilled and very happy that there is a location that does this type of work for a woman in the situation. I drove up to drop off the donations and when I got off the car to ask the lady if this was the correct location I felt she gave me attitude. Now in her defense it was a little after the closing time so I do understand she wants to go home or whatever. But I believe it could’ve been said with less attitude. I had someone there assisting me and they. Had asked if they gave receipts to people donated the same lady with attitude said oh my God and walked away. Another lady after walked up and very nicely said that they could do it tomorrow if you wouldn’t mind coming back.Just that experience wasn’t the best for me I don’t think I will be donating again there. But I would definitely support the cause and if someone asked me of a place that was taking donations I would still recommend.
